Can’t go wrong with eggs on toast. We opted for scrambled eggs for our order (you can pick other ways of cooking). The eggs were seasoned well however I would have liked a bit more creaminess to them. The spring onions mixed in the eggs was a really nice touch of extra flavour! But also, I wish the toast slices were thicker. Get this and a long black and you’re sorted for brekkie.

A tribute to the original Eggslut sandwich, the Mac-Daddy has been altered greatly for the Malaysian palate – not that I have a problem with it. It’s spicy (that Siracha mayo really packs a flavour punch), but the caramelised onions does help to cut through the heat. The eggs on this were cooked just right too! I think an iced latte will pair well with this, to help balance out all the flavours.

Pretty well done eggs, soft and creamy with spring onions folded in. They are cooked in smaller bits than I’d prefer, and the bread they’re topped on would’ve been perfect if it just spent a little longer in the toaster. But overall, decent!

Bacon jam on the house was the star, but unfortunately, not a mainstay (only made when they’ve got extra bacon to play with).

Random’s riff on a classic Japanese staple of raw egg over rice sees a dash of truffle oil and a dollop of lumpfish caviar. It smells amazing, but taste wise it’s a lot lighter than I expected. Good for when you just want something easy and satisfying.

The random wheel at this food store struck eggs this time, seemingly inspired by Egg Slut.

The Mac Daddy is a tribute to the above, featuring scrambled eggs, caramelised onions, cheddar and sriracha mayo on brioche buns. Insanely buttery with a hit of heat from sriracha.
