Pile your plate up with honest-to-goodness dishes made with quality ingredients at this zhap fan-like counter – think hot and cold pots filled with lentil curry, pesto chicken, roasted cauliflower and more. Both outlets at Avenue K and Jalan Hang Lekiu see crowds throng in during peak lunch hours, so it's best to swing by early for your next feel-good meal.

Gotta be one of my fave places to eat healthy, wish they had more outlets! There is a plethora of cold and hot dishes to choose from. I had the kimchi, sautéed mushroom, zucchini/eggplant and stewed pumpkin with pesto chicken and rice. Chicken was not memorable but the rest played to their strengths of being simple comfort food. Shoutout to their miso caramel sauce, something sweet tooth’s will love!

Passion fruit, apple, honey and orange come together in this bright cold-pressed juice. Has just the right amount of sweet-sourish buzz to wake you on your post-lunch coma.

In case you didn’t spot these guys on your Avenue K lunch run, here’s what you need to know. The food’s amazing, lined in a healthyish zap fan spread, with options like green curry chicken (breast only of course), lentil curry and beef stew. These rotate on a daily basis.

I went for the Petite (2 hot veg, 1 cold veg), which isn’t actually petite in size, just in protein. You won’t get meat in this one, but it makes up for size with another portion of veg. The lentil curry is mildly spicy, almost buttery and great if you like lots of dhal on rice. Also got the kimchi, a potent, punchy housemade one. Cauliflower while cooked well, needs a little bit of sauce to help it along. It’s a good thing the meal comes with a side of sauce, and my bittersweet, slightly savoury miso caramel went excellently with the cauliflower. Also expect a minestrone soup with the meal. Yep, all that. For RM12. In the city centre.

A small shop well hidden @ Japan Hang Lekiu, you will be surprised that how packed it is during lunch hour! The rice bowl comes with 3 sizes: petite (RM11), medium (RM13) and super (RM15), differ by number of hot & cold veggies/ proteins. .
.
BUILD YOUR OWN BOWL: You can choose the combination (including selection of sushi rice/ brown rice) and most of them are colourful hence it looks so appetising! Thumbs up! .
