Perfect combi w the brown bobas!!! Scooped into the cup, direct from the slow cooker = gooey, warm bobas that glides down the throat. Let the bobas sit a lil’ & ‘solidify’, you’ll get a significantly chewier texture 😋
Ps: Ask for 0 sugar for your milk tea cos the brown sugar from the bobas is incredibly sweet!
Filled with small chewy pearls, soaked in a brown sugar syrup, the taste was more honey-like than brown sugar to me. Shake very well or else it would be sickly sweet! The milk was creamy and thick but not too thick. Would probably get again when I'm not feeling too guilty about my diet 🙃
The black milk tea is nothing to shout about (perhaps the roasted oolong would have fared better), but the pearls are a different story! The store recommends that you take a drink of pearls before mixing them in. Warm and coated with an extra ladle of brown sugar syrup, the first sip is a definite eye-opener with its rich flavour. The pearls were chewy and firmed up as it was mixed with the colder tea. At $3.60, this is definitely one of the more affordable sweet treats!

It’s still one of my top choices for brown sugar boba milk, or the milk tea with brown sugar pearls. Some might find the brown sugar coating too sweet but I feel it strikes a good balance as it gets mixed into the fresh milk. Love the chewiness of the boba and for its price, the size of the drink is definitely worthwhile.
Beautifully crafted tiger strips that impressed at first look and excites more at first touch. The base of the cup was warm due to the freshly boiled brown sugar pearls- scooped right up from the slow cooker and dropped into your cup. At first sip, the gooey mess slips through your mouth so smoothly, like melty marshmallow! Slowly but surely, the brown sugar pearls solidified as they cool down from the icy milk. The pearls are a lil’ more chewy when solidified, while remaining soft at the same time too. R&B’s brown sugar pearls offer an amazing experience where you get to taste different textures, chewiness and gooeyness of the pearls all in a cup. The brown sugar fragrance was strong- makes you feel that it’s so worth it! By far the best brown sugar bubble tea I’ve tasted!
