A timeless combination that always pleases, this version takes a healthier turn with chickpeas, spinach and cherry tomatoes in a pool of mild butter cream sauce. It would have been even better with the heat and spice amped up a notch or two.

The restorative effects of a whisky sour midway through an all-night bender should not be underestimated. Whisky fortifies the spirit, whilst the lemon juice provides a much needed boost of vitamin C. Topped with an effervescent egg white foam, this is both an enjoyable as well as invigorating libation that will bolster you for more drinks ahead.

Probably the best steak tartare in Szczecin, Rusalka's rendition never fails to impress, with their ever-changing yet always elegant plating of this perennial plate on their menu.

The staple combination of diced pickled cucumber and onion along with boletus mushrooms and capers crosses paths with a new and unusual garnish of a quite vegetal lovage mayonnaise which surprisingly worked as part of the sum of the whole.

Needless to say, the chopped raw beef and egg yolk was of the highest quality and taste.

If you’re looking for a hearty plate of pasta to warm your bellies in the fall season, look no further than this heaping plateful of ribbons of black tagliatelle enveloped in a punchy parsley, parmesan and garlic sauce. Chockful of plump prawns, zucchini and cherry tomatoes, each bite is the perfect mouthful of richness, acidity and umami.

Throwback to last winter at @restauracjarusalka where it’s customary for us to order the steak tartare, which is plated differently everytime I have it, yet still manages to be strikingly beautiful.

The simplicity of the preparation allows the excellent produce to really shine, and the unadulterated flavours are pure and vibrant.
