Now, my friend ventured into trying Chicken Organs (S) (RM 9) and mentioned they were quite enjoyable. However, I can't provide personal insight since I don't indulge in organ meats. Haha! 🍗🍲

To complement this delightful meal, I ordered a plate of Chicken Feet (S) (RM 9) for some extra munching. As for the chicken feet, they were much tender, fatty, and braised to perfection. They were an absolute delight.

To complement this delightful meal, I ordered a bowl of Flat Rice Noodles (RM 8). The noodles were delightfully slurpy, hearty, and full of savoury goodness. Their soft and chewy texture was a true delight. The soup, with its comforting warmth, paired wonderfully with the chicken.

And when you're in Ipoh, you can't miss out on the Beansprouts (M) (RM 14), a classic chicken combo. Strangely enough, the beansprouts here are something else. Some say it might be due to the mineral-rich water in this region, but whatever the reason, they were exceptionally crunchy and clean. A generous drizzle of sesame oil, soya sauce, and a sprinkle of pepper elevated their flavours.

We ordered a half portion of Chicken (RM 37), and it turned out to be incredibly filling. The chicken meat was exceptionally tender and bursting with flavour, thanks to that fragrant blend of sesame oil and soya sauce. But what really made it special was the juicy and smooth texture of the skin, achieved through a cold water bath. I have to admit; it's a bit sinful to indulge in that oil, but it's just so irresistibly addictive.

Stepping into Ipoh for the first time, and here's the meal that welcomed me! Restoran Cowan operates exclusively during the evening, so if you're aiming to savour their flavours, be sure to arrive early. We managed to get there about 30 to 45 minutes after they opened, and guess what? It was already bustling, with a line forming. That's a clear testament to their popularity, especially among the locals. It's a good sign, indicating we definitely made the right decision by choosing this place. From the cost to the taste, everything seems to be on the right track. Let's dig in and relish every moment of this gastronomic adventure! 🍽👏
