Japanese Wagyu Sandwich - $29.5
·
Feel the fats from the chuck of Wagyu meat as you sink your teeth into this awesome sandwich. That’s simply beyond words. Coated the Wagyu is a thin crust that provide extra crisp together with the toasted bread. Go ahead share the dish with your buddies, they will love it too. Rice Hut is also famous for their yummy braised rice! I would recommend Braised Rice w Abalone & Seafood ($18.5) & Braised Rice w Grilled Eel ($16.50). You can pick a base, fried rice w egg, plain rice, kway teow or even ramen!, but I love love the mui fan style, yummy and felt so homely. You won’t regret trying them

Rice Hut

Stumbled upon this shop in Chinatown point which sells mostly Chinese food. I ordered some combo set which comprised of fish maw and seafood, salmon fish, tofu, black fungus ?, rice and almond jelly.

Salmon was cooked perfectly, with its skin being super crispy and the meat not overly dry.

They were pretty generous with the seafood- prawns, fish and mushroom. I drowned my rice with the gravy. It was indeed a hearty meal.

There are having a 25% off their food from 5-9.30pm.

Go for their value set which comes with the 1 main dish, 1 side dish, 2 appetisers and a drink.

A big portion that worth your money. The only down side will be the chicken cutlet which was fried very dry but still crispy anyway. Generous amount of fish maw and seafood in the soup. $15.50++

- Braised Fish Maw and Seafood Rice with Chicken Cutlet 雞排魚鰾海鮮撈飯🍛

Initially thought the shop was quite empty, doubt the food will be nice, but since there was no queue and none of us tried before, no harm trying it, we went there for our dinner...

Luckily we went! Think not many ppl went there probably cos they are new, to our surprise the food is not bad at all!

Totally value for $!

Like mui-fan concept, but you can also ask them to serve the “zhap” (sauce) separately...

Wouldn’t mind coming back again...

Damage: $9.50

Walked past this restaurant a number of times when it first opened and was always tempted to try.

Finally went down one day and ordered the braised fish maw and seafood kway teow with chicken cutlet ($9.50, U.P. $11.50).

Other than fish maw and chicken cutlet, it was also served with broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, prawns (4 of them!!) and sliced fish. The portion was generous and the gravy was delicious. The kway Teow was well cooked and not overly soft. The chicken was served hot and crispy, but yet not dry. Great comfort food on a cold rainy day.
