Nothing too fanciful or pretentious, just a good honest brew with Eggs Benedict Salmon (300 THB) on a muffin bread topped with avocado and smoked salmon over a creamy hollandaise sauce.

Cold brew coffee with dark chocolate and orange foam.
Rocket Coffee Bar always does coffee right, especially their cold brew. This is the branch at Soi Sathorn 12. Glad to be back. #DFDBangkok

It's tucked away in a stretch near the central business district of Sathorn.

I ordered the Roast Pork Loin with Dill Pickles on Rye Bread. It wasn't fantastic per se, but the construction of the dish was done well. Each element worked perfectly with each other. I loved the fact they used Rye bread because it isn't a very widely used carb base in most of the cafes I've visited. The dense bread paired particularly well with the dill pickles. I recommend adding in a side of omelette to substantiate your meal.

The menu is rather pricey in comparison with many cafes in Bangkok. However, the quality of the food justifies the money you pay.

Many have visited and raved the Roast's and After You's, hence I decided to make a visit to Rocket instead.

The first ever Rocket was opened at this very location and the look-and-feel exude a very chill out vibe. Besides the ambience, they serve pretty decent food and coffee. Since it's my first time here and I also know that everyone is over the eggs benedict fad but since it's their signature, I've got to give it a try.

The Rocket's Benedict (THB 210) comes with a duo of 63 degrees eggs served on dark sourdough bread with seasoned hollandaise sauce, rocket leaves and crispy chorizo. The Rocket Fuel Cold Brew Coffee (THB 105/THB 315) is a 100% arabica blend of Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil and Guatemala beans. As the beans underwent a lighter roast than traditional espresso roasts, the cold brew is very light and refreshing, perfect for sunny and humid Bangkok.

Great place in the city to have a coffee and pull out your laptop for a short sprint at work.
