Unlike the usual kimchi fried rice, this one was served on hotpot surrounded by egg with cheese. Unfortunately the fried rice itself doesn’t taste very strong and spicy. But the egg with cheese does help to increase your taste bud. $13.90

Side dishes here like kimchi are refillable but don’t waste, or else you will be fine for any wastage.

This authentic bowl of goodness was so Q. Mixed very well with the black bean sauce and was slightly sweet! Love the pieces of pork meat and crunchy cabbage inside too. ($9.80)

Bacon and Kimchi roll was good, kimchi was not overly sour nor the bacon is too salty.

The seaweed soup was unexpectedly good.

Kinda disappointed for the cheese deokkbokki. There were way too many ricecakes and they were clumped together. Best if you eat it hot. If not, it would be kinda sick.

Will come back for their rollllling rice. ;)

Tucked away near the gongcha and Watsons in the underground market place of the central, this little restaurant boasts a wide menu of kimbap and a variety of korean staples. This is my favourite item out of the lot and really packs a spice. Customers may ask for a less spicy version or offer what they cannot consume to their friends who enjoy spicy food.

My favourite dish out of the entire meal would be the Black Bean Noodle. It was my first Jajangmyeon, so I was really anticipating it and the taste did not disappoint me at all. Besides that, I had the Strong Spicy Cream Topokki, or shall I say, supposedly "strong spicy". The dish was not spicy at all. It did have the regular topokki taste –similar to Rolling Topokki which my companion ordered hence the comparison, but I had high expectations when they mention spicy. Anyways, moving on to the next dish, we ordered the Bulgogi baby roll, the tasty beef filling made up for the average sushi rolls. All in all, it was a satisfying dining experience. I'd go for a 2.5/5 verdict. Of course I'd come back and try other dishes on the menu, not forgetting the Black Bean Noodles.

bulgogi and crispy chicken rolls. would taste better if they used better quality of meat and it was served cold.
