Although its called Savoury French Toast, its more of a sweet and salty meal. The toast with butter and syrup is so yummy I wouldn’t mind if they just gave me more of that. At first I found the braised apple kinda weird, but it cuts through the oily and saltiness of the bacon so it becomes a cycle of sweet and salty which is nice.

Ronin has the best toast so far. This cheese toast combined with 3 different kind of Cheese is insane . Coffee at there are awesome

Chocolate + Coffee + Mint = Wicked Mocha

Never tried this drink anywhere before so definitely try it while you drop Ronin! It’s wickedly effective to wake me up from my morning sleepyhead.

I really the ambience, especially the huge table where 10 people can sit together. Best place to have morning conversation with some interesting strangers. No wonder this place is super popular within expats community.

Ronin's famous wicked mocha ($6) is a charming blend of mint and mocha — in a way that tastes like atas liquefied peppermint chocolate.
The mocha base itself was smooth and had a lighter coffee taste and instead leaned towards a richer chocolate-forward profile, which made for a good match for the subtle but still noticeable kick of mint.

The scrambled eggs here are really creamy and well done - but yet I feel that this dish as a whole wasn’t particularly mind-blowing. The toast was pretty boring and the portobellos weren’t the tastiest - but I must still say i love that Ronin is pretty value for money for brunch in town, and I’d still recommend it.

The texture of the French toast was amazing - so soft and thick yet not too cloying. There was a huge dollop of mascarpone cream, as well as a really fresh-tasting berry compote and pistachio crumble. Probably one of the best French toasts I’ve ever had.
