Room For Desserts, home of the best-selling Summertime Carrot Cake and Red Velvet cake is located at Somme Road, just off Jalan Besar behind City Square Mall. This sweet little dessert room used to be at Waterloo Street, the cakes are still as delightful as before.
Carrot cake was pretty decent. Cake wasn't too dense and moist enough. Nuts were also fresh. Nothing impressive but not too shabby either. Not such a fan of their Passionfruit cheesecake, which I found too tart without much of the fruit essence although the cheese cake was pretty smooth. However, my friend did enjoy it a lot. Maybe I expect a lot more from passionfruit than just pure sourness. Place is really small, perhaps better for a takeaway to enjoy at home.
The clever addition of raisin and white choc gives the extra oomph feeling! I will b hopping back soon for more! （*'∀'人）♥*+
