Spend your next weekend lunch at this cosy spot serving delicious modern European food. Following a farm-to-fork approach, expect all ingredients to be locally-sourced. Burppler Jesuis Enamourez recommends the Snapper Ceviche (RM35) as well as the Burnt White Cabbage (RM18) that comes on a bed of miso cream. End with the Coconut Panna Cotta, Passion Fruit (RM22), which Burppler Joey Sheon declares as the best in the area. Ps. They're located on the first floor, so visit with your smaller pups instead!

Snapper Ceviché(RM35) with radish, birds eye Chili, caviar, herb oil topped with rye crisp. I wish it was more “cooked” in more citrus dressing. Having it with a glass of Mercat Cava Brut(RM28).

This might not look like one of those appetising dishes you might order but it tasted really awesome. Charred white cabbage served with a bed of miso cream. Probably one of the most flavourful cabbage dish I’ve tasted. RM18 per serving.

Two slices of seared duck breast served on top of a carrot purée with some demi glace sauce. The duck breast is a bit over cooked which and their demi glace was under season. RM42 per serving.

We had the beetroot risotto, duck ragout parpadelle, bread with hummus and slow cooked chicken breast. Portions were quite small and I didn’t leave with full satisfaction, but everything tasted pretty good and was cooked to perfection. The desserts: Panna cotta, cheesecake and chocolate gateau was so good too!! I’d come back for more of ROOST.

Zucchini blossoms are a dish found in Italian, Spanish and Turkish cuisine, where the flowers of zucchini are seasoned, stuffed with ricotta and deep fried in batter.

The batter of the zucchini blossoms were deep fried well, which were crisp and still hot when served. The flowers were still fresh and yellow which is always a good sign. The cheese was a little more acidic, but played well with the savoury batter. The salt flakes on the side were a nice addition.
