$0.60 and so so worth it!!!!! It was so generous ❤️ One of the best red bean bread ❤️

As you can see the pumpkin filling is very generous and the bun was quite heavy. It comes with more pumpkin seeds on the top to give the additional crunch to the bread.

Similar to siu pau from Malaysia, except this is much more thinner and flakier for the skin. The char siew filling is also not as flavourful but this is quite a good standard in Singapore!

Generous filling that looks quite thick but the taste of the black sesame was quite plain. Very pure sesame taste that seems like no sugar added. Good for those who are looking for a healthier alternative.

Instead of the usual char siew, Roti has come out with a chicken bak gua version. Hot n crispy but just that the bak gua is a tad too hard. But you cant expect to taste lim chee guan bak gua standard with just $1 right?! 😂

Now tell me, where in Singapore can you actually find a satisfying bun STUFFED with smooth red bean paste at $0.60 these days?!?! With an exact shop layout as Baker Talent right next door, the two bakeries may often get mixed up so just take note of their signboard!

The thick red bean paste just reminds you of your coffee shop tau sar pau and together with the pillowy soft bread, this bun just brings you back to the good old days.
