The mango wasn’t as sweet as I expected it to be but the sticky rice here is served piping hot, which kinda makes up for it. You can blame it on my sweet tooth but I felt the entire dish wasn’t sweet enough 😕

It’s pouring out there and I’m down with a bad case of flu. Was craving for something flavourful yet not overly heavy on the stomach, hence decided to go for pho, though I had never really tried a pho I actually liked here in SG. Ordered the beef combination pho (beef balls, brisket, Aussie beef) and I love it ! ☺️ the generous portion of ingredients floating around in the bowl, coupled with the pleasant aroma of the broth make this a really pho-tanstic meal for the sick soul (though I didn’t finish it cause it was a really huge portion!)

My first time having Thai milk tea with whipped cream 😳 brb sugar rush 🤯

Located right next to Nickeldime Drafthouse at Novena Gardens, this casual Vietnamese eatery dishes out authentic staples, and may just be your next favourite spot to satisfy a pho craving. The Australian Beef Pho ($14) is a fail-safe choice, but if you’re okay with a little heat, get the Spicy Australian Sliced Beef Noodles (Hue Style) ($14) — instead of the usual flat rice noodles, this uses rice vermicelli, similar to the ones used in Laksa. Not only is the broth the perfect flavour and aroma, the generous portion of ingredients is also more than enough to fill you up. Swing by with your colleagues at lunch and take advantage of their value-for-money lunch sets. For just $12, you get a choice of a Big Bowl (any pho on the menu) and one spring roll (it’s usually the Fresh Vietnamese Prawn Paper Roll unless sold out). Complete your meal with either a dessert or a soft drink for just $2.

I'm usually not a fan of spicy soups, but this is definitely worth trying! The broth is so flavourful and intense, EPIC 😍 Love at first slurp. There isn't a lot of seats (two tables of four, one long table of eight and bar seats) so best to come in small groups or make reservations prior. Also, come for the lunch sets where you can get the pho bowls (this included) and ONE spring roll for $12. #burpplecheapNgood

Each bite was an explosion of juicy flavorsome beef, that would have made the Wagyu wept. Still craving for these awesome Vietnamese spring rolls!

Wonderful meal partaken on a journey with @sjoylam to Saigon Alley, where Ho Chi Minh City-inspired street foods are unearthed behind the doors at @hiddendoorsg
