This is one of the more famous Chinese Vegetarian stall in the west part of Singapore. If you come on 1st and 15th Day of the lunar calendar, be prepared for queues up to 40 deep!

At $3 a packet, they are still very affordable. The stall helper will ask you whether you want Lor (braised sauce) to go with your noodles/Kway Teow or Bee Hoon. I like mine with pickled green chilli but there are some who swear by their sambal chilli. You can add spring rolls, fried tofu or other gluten based mock Char Siew, luncheon meat, etc.

If you want alight meal and go vegan for a day, this is the place I recommend. Cheap and good!

This is one vegetarian stall with snaking queues especially on the first and fifteen day of the month in the lunar calendar. A fixed vegetarian Beehoon/noodle set ($3) consisting a heap of fried Beehoon that could be better with stronger wok hei, and 3 dishes such as French beans,
Mushrooms and fried beancurd skin. Unlike those crispy beancurd skin elsewhere, this sinks into your teeth and becomes a lil chewy instead. The cute grandma at the stall asked me in Teochew if I would like to try their curry vegetables which is very good. And so I got a portion at additional $1, which I thought was quite worthy for the rich gravy and big pieces of cabbage.
