The chilli crab pizza steals the show here. A piquant sauce and a thin crispy base provide the foundation for a taste sensation. One slice isn’t enough...

Treat your kids to a day out in the sun at East Coast Park. Expect an impeccable view of the seaside and a kid-safe plunge pool — they even have a shower area just round the corner! Their kids menu includes yummy options like the Cheese Quesadilla ($9) and Mac and Cheese ($9), served with sides of chicken nuggets, fries and juice. Folks, go for the foolproof Hawaiian Pizza ($18), the Spicy Seafood Pizza ($22) or the Seared Cajun Salmon ($25).

We like the cosy family atmosphere and good value for money meal. For around $20 per person you can get a decent meal.

Ample parking outside. We rate this 7/10

Was here for a half-day out-of-city meeting. Managed to convince my fellow partners to share this platter under the “For Sharing” items. 350g of Ribeye Steak, requested to be done medium rare.

Decent amount of fat and meat and was done nicely, according to requested medium-rare doneness.

The secret of good Fish and Chips lies in the choice of fish and the batter. SandBank uses sea bass for that. Although the fish turned out a little more flaky than the common types of fish in other restaurants, I thought that the fish still tasted quite delicious.

The rest of the food on this plate of SandBank Fish and Chips (S$22.00) are more towards the average mark. One point to mention is their Asian-inspired tartar sauce, which I thought went a little too gingerly (if I got the ingredient right): not what I will appreciate fully if not for needing a sauce dip for the fish and fries.
