I don’t want to be the one who spoiler it so DM me if you want to know what’s the extra ingredient that gives this a deep smoothness.
Also ordered a piakssant, which is basically a flattened croissant. It was tasty enough but I had a huge lunch so I could barely finish it.
Anyway singer Diya Tan opened this a year ago. So you might be able to catch her there sometimes.
PS: Sanity may be a slight challenge to locate but it’s right across from Michelin One Star restaurant Labyrinth. So you may want to consider dropping in for a pre-dinner coffee.

Found my favourite Piakssant flavour at Sanity Coffee! The Hawaiian Piakssant ($9) features a flattened croissant that is crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, and filled with ham, melted cheese and tomato drizzled in a zingy chilli pineapple sauce. The light bite is completed with chips and a refreshing homemade achar - will be back for more!

Visited Sanity Coffee during the National Day long weekend to try out their National Day Special - Kaya Coconut Piakssant ($5). It’s actually less sweet than expected, which is great for me as I do not have a sweet tooth. The fragrant kaya spread goes really well with the generous sprinkle of coconut shavings, which gives it a nice texture. I also got myself the Sea-Salt Nutella Piakssant ($5). To be honest, I’m not a fan of chocolate but 这个我可以❤️ The sea-salt balances out the sweetness of the Nutella spread and the warm flaky pastry makes a pretty comforting snack. Completed teatime with an Ice Cafe Latte ($6) which is smooth and not too acidic👍🏻 This is how you restore your sanity over the weekends😎

I have been to Sanity Coffee a couple of times but this is the first time I tried their food menu:) I got myself a Margarita Piakssant ($5), which is a toasted flattened croissant (hence “piak”😂) with basil, tomato, cheese and marinara sauce. The piakssant is in between a croissant and a sandwich, and it is very melty and delicious - I finished it in no time. It is also available in two other flavours - Hawaiian and Sea Salt Nutella:) Gotta try them all!

One can expect to enjoy a good cup of coffee at Sanity coffee. My favourite is their Iced Lemon Tea which is homemade and so refreshing!

Visited the new Sanity Coffee at Esplanade Mall yesterday; pretty much a hole-in-the-wall coffee bar which compliments Room 2F, a community and event space that it is situated in. Got myself a slice of the homamde cheesecake; velvety smooth, creamy and luscious with a chocolate cake layer beneath for a contrast of sweetness, while the Iced White was pretty well-pulled with a medium body that carried a nutty flavour profile. A great grab-and-go coffee spot, or even for a stopover for a quick cuppa in between errands.
