Went on a pretty unfortunate day where we only had the option of a beef rice bowl..

It sure looks pretty.

Thought the cardamom grains were heavily reminiscent of the familiar briyani rice haha.

The beef was very salty.

While the tomato salsa was honestly spoilt :(

I only actually liked the cutely shaped pappadum.

The beef in the sandwich was juicy, together with the delicious tonkatsu sauce. Definitely will come back here again if I’m craving for beef in a sandwich.

It is located at the lobby of Daulat Hotel in little india a little off from the main streets and crowds which i prefer that. Had beef rice bowl, egg benedict and cocoa acai bowl for total bill of $62.

The service staff was friendly but a little hiccups was that they missed out two of our orders which made us wait a little longer. Overall dining experience was good though 👍🏼

This place is a bit isolated from the crowded streets of little india. On the ground floor of a small boutique hotel you will find a small coffeeshop where you can have afordable breakfast and lunches. They have good bowls with a base of rice and cauliflower, and lots of savoury ingredients.
The drinks are good too, I had a smoothie with dates, milk and vanilla. It can be a bit long when there a few clients because the kitchen is very small.

Got to try the new kids on the block for halal cafe. Also this situated at Madras Street under the The Daulat Hotel. Small space indoor but there is seatings outside. Food wise we ordered the Turkey Ham Sandwich, Portobello Pizza and Full Breakfast. Price range from $9-19. Sandwich seems normal tasting and quite fulfilling. Full breakfast for today was without avocado. The sausage is juicy as well as the soft scrambled eggs. The unexpected is Portobello pizza. The bread is soft and the sauce is delicious.

The Beef Rice Bowl - The base of the rice bowl is made with cauliflower florets and brown rice, and is topped with alfafa, amaranth and red daikon. Cherry tomatoes, corn, red onions and a wobbly poached egg are paired with the thin beef slices.
