The meal won’t be completed without having their masala chai. It is served after meal (free with the set). So hot that we can’t even hold it and need to drink while holding their metal coasters. We can’t even replicate this at home (despite buying tea bag or loose tea leaf) so do give this a try! 🤓

Part of meal combos (a great set not to be missed other than their Saravana Special meals which we tried last time) 👌
The Gujarati set is comprised of sweet, salad and small bowl of goodies namely:

👉 2 Phulka: chapati flat bread
👉 Jeera rice: rice & cumin seed
👉 2 Sabzi: Gravy & Dry (vegetable curry)
👉 1 cup curd: White yoghurt which we keep to have with the dessert bowl nearby
👉 1 Pappad: The poppadom is roasted and very crunchy (dipping good with Sabzi)

We are particularly fond of the Peas & Corns sabzi. They look mild but really mind-blowing!! 🌶
🤘 No MSG, No reused oil, no preservatives
Pure vegetarian, Jain & Buddhist dishes, kids menu available

A set that brought us back again to this Indian eatery. Dosai & Vada deliver nice texture & taste as expected. The mint green yoghurt is amazingly refreshing. Kesari finish off the meal in a high note. 👍😁

Saw the table nearby ordering this set meal and it was so tempting!! 🤩 We went for this Saravana SPL Meals. (SPL = Special we guess! 🤔) Just noticed in their menu that that the set is not to be shared. We reckon that we order the Tiffin set earlier and hence we didn’t break this rule.😉
.
This set contains Sweet, Rice, 2 mini poori / 1 chappati, 3 types of vegetables, ‘Vathal Kuzhambu’, ‘Sambar’, ‘Rasam’, Curd, poppadom & pickles.
.
Vathal kuzhambu, Sambar and Rasam (tamarind base) dishes have bold flavour. ☄️ We love it to the max!! 💯 Poppadom is nice (crack & dip it with cold refreshing curd). Chappati is puffy & warm (not chewy). The set is slightly let down by overcooked rice. 🍚
.
💡 Believe it or not! that we will come back to this place because of this set alone. This just shows how much we love the way they cook these South Indian Vegetarian dishes!! We also ordered extra lassi $3.50 to share. 🍹 Recommend to try this place after you are done shopping in mustafa centre. (Not too far, air con, and tasty vegetarian food)

The masala chai tea is a perk of ordering mini tiffin vadai set (served when we finish the set). It helps that we remind their staff at that time but if you want to enjoy this along the meal, do tell them). Served very hot, aromatic with just right amount of sweetness). 👌☕️
We love it so much that when we check out Mustafa Centre, we try to recreate the same tea but ain’t taste the same.😅

Tempted to order this mini tiffin set because of ‘Kesiri Bath’(an orange color Indian sweet). How Sweet Tooth we are!! 😛 It turns out ‘Masala Dosai’ served with chutney & sambar is the star!! The seasoned potato is stuffed proportionately beneath the dosai crepe. 🥔
.
We also enjoy 5 mini round ‘idli’ and the doughnut shaped ‘vadai’. It is a good value set as the portion for each component is very generous and well cooked.👌
