From the Burpple community

ordered the miso carbonara & the grass fed ribeye, both $21 before GST, no service charge. with burpple, sarnies is pretty affordable! the miso salmon carbonara was quite tasty & creamy + the pasta was al dante, although i wouldn't recommend eating the whole plate yourself. the ribeye was disappointing from the get go - the steak was thin & so unimpressionable. there was large fatty layer that was really 🤢 but other than that it's passable, for maybe a 5/10. for the portion of the steak i probably would not order it ever again even if i were craving but i wouldn't mind coming back for other items on the menu becauae the staff are really friendly & helpful. the al fresco dining was also really nice & chill except that it's right by the road so you may not like that (exhaust fumes & road dust!!)

Ordered the Chicken Parmigiana ($18) for a quick lunch. A very generous portion that won’t leave you hungry. However, the chicken was too under seasoned for my tastes, and the dominant flavour was the cheese rather than the expected medley of tomato sauce, cheese, and chicken. Additionally, the chicken was on the tougher side (slightly overcooked) and breading was not as crispy as I’d hoped. There’s certainly room for improvement.

Ordered a Fry Up ($25) & Truffle Scramble Eggs ($24). Food was 2.5/5. Sour dough was really hard, mushrooms seems to be boiled & not stir fried. The scramble eggs is not even seasoned. Maybe the dinner menu will be a better choice.

generous portion. can taste salmon in every bite. recommended for sharing.

Been here for their brunch on weekends, but I think their weekday dinner menu is even better! I had the Miso Salmon Carbonara ($21 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) and it came generous with pieces of tender flavourful salmon and a dollop of ikura. There is a whole load of umami flavours going on in this dish, and the thickness and creaminess of the dish is surprisingly not surfeiting! The portion is huge as well.

They were very generous with the cheese on the Truffle Fries ($11) and combined with the perfect crispy yet fluffy texture of the fries, it was very addictive!

The Brownie with Ice Cream ($9) was a really huge portion and it really rich but abit too sweet. Totally will come back again!

Generous sprinkle of berries! Like it that this cafe opened early
