Came back for the miso carbonara 10/10 really love it. Tho the miso taste isn’t really there but I love that it’s so creamy, filled with salmon and pasta cooked to perfection. Tho the steak was okay wouldn’t come back for it as there’re other things in the menu that are way nicer .

We decided to give Sarnies' Brekkie Burg a try, as it seemed like one of the most value-for-money items on the menu. For $19++, you get a burger with a really generous serving of scrambled eggs, and a pretty thick piece of beef patty. While the scrambled eggs were pretty soft and fluffy, we felt that the beef patty tasted slightly weird. Perhaps it was because Sarnies coated the patty with fermented garlic butter, which might sound interesting but it gave the patty a pretty raw taste. Certainly not something I am keen to get again!

Sarnies is pretty crowded in the morning so you may want to head down early if you are planning to dine in a big group. Do remember to use your Burpple vouchers to enjoy 50% off the mains, and using one voucher alone is sufficient for you to enjoy the discount for the mains ordered for your entire table!

Steak sandwich with dijonnaise on the side because... the cousin does not like mustard. So yes, it's all mine and it's a must-have complement to the steak sandwich! Portion size wise, it's HUGE. Love the sourdough bread and perfectly grilled mushrooms. Comes with caramelized onions within as well but both cousin and I do not appreciate onions so we fished it out (forgot to ask for no onions prior!) A simple but gratifying lunch option for sure

New on the grill! The cheesy toasties kinda sticks out in their menu of healthy salads and sandwiches but oh hey, count the satisfaction and not the calories! It's a vegetarian option - with spinach, whole cherry tomatoes, eggplants and loads of cheese! The eggplants bore black grill lines - indicating that they had been separately grilled before the sandwich-ing begins. I would have preferred the cherry tomatoes to be sliced up first, instead of being wholes - but that's just a matter of personal preference. The underside of each toast was soaked with an egg, prior to grilling. It's not pictured in here but there's a sunny side up imprinted within the toast on the underside! Love the crisp and savouriness of this lunch time grub. I can't wait to try the tuna broccoli toastie too!

Enjoyed this more than expected! The soft scram was light and fluffy, the star of the burger. The smashed beef patty was tasty, blending well with the fermented garlic butter which really elevated the flavour of the whole burger. Bacon onion jam was an interesting addition to the savoury flavours - but I think the presence of the jam was what made this burger a brunch/breakfast companion. Worth a try!

$25 is quite pricey but I thought it was pretty worth with how generous the portion of eggs ben w/ smoked salmon was. While the flavours of the bearnaise and bacon onion jam matched well, it personally did not suit my taste palate. I felt that the sweetness of the bacon onion jam was both a bit too sweet and overwhelming, and the bearnaise was a bit tasteless. I guess I’d still prefer hollandaise sauce with my egg ben. Then again, they did name it eggs Benjamin and not eggs benedict for a reason. With how generous they were with the smoked salmon, I’d think this would make both a decent, extremely filling and fulfilling breakfast.
