Chunks of tempeh, quinoa, cucumber, juicy tomatoes, edamame, mesclun salad and a creamy yet light coconut ranch dressing make up this salad. It’s a good salad, filled with tastes and textures that are different from the norm, and of just the right portion for lunch. I used Burpple 1-for-1 and paid just $7.75.

Indoor seating is claustrophobic and dark, while outdoor seating is warm during lunch time. Still, it’s a good time to go now during Phase 2 when there aren’t any CBD crowds to queue and jostle with.

Pretty surprised when I saw this huge portion of food. The poached eggs came out perfect, it opens beautifully when your knife runs through it. The little cubes of cheese provided that dimension of creaminess and sourness to the toast. Would definitely recommend this simple yet fulfilling brunch choice!

Disappointing... used the 50% off burpple beyond for the main dish but didn’t expect the salmon to be 50% off too... food tastes fine but this is not the way to do business

Grab yourself a plate of Aussie-style lunch and a good cup of joe at Sarnies. Order a Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich ($14.80) and the Salmon Cauliflower ($19) that boasts crispy salmon skin, roasted cauliflower, hummus and herb salad. The Tempeh Salad ($15.50) and Tandoori Chicken Salad ($16.50) are perfect for lighter lunch option!

Avocado toast with feta, roasted cherry tomatoes, dukkah. Love the use of fresh dill on the guac, goes very well with the feta and the sweet roasted cherry tomatoes. Added on smoked salmon [$6.50] and poached eggs [$3.75]

Amazingly huge plate of fry up. Plate consists of two eggs (choice of scrambled or sunny side up) sausage, sautéed mushrooms, house made baked beans, fried potatoes, home-cured bacon, buttered sourdough toast. Everything on the plate was great except for the fried potatoes, which were slightly soggy and the spicy sauce on it felt out of place with the other components. Loved the mild smokiness of the baked beans, lovely surprise to find plump cherry tomatoes in there. Also enjoyed the the sautéed mushrooms and the non-greasy crispy bacon that has been thoughtfully pat dry. Of course, no brunch plate is complete without toasted sourdough (game changer when they are buttered!)
