Enjoyed this more than expected! The soft scram was light and fluffy, the star of the burger. The smashed beef patty was tasty, blending well with the fermented garlic butter which really elevated the flavour of the whole burger. Bacon onion jam was an interesting addition to the savoury flavours - but I think the presence of the jam was what made this burger a brunch/breakfast companion. Worth a try!

$25 is quite pricey but I thought it was pretty worth with how generous the portion of eggs ben w/ smoked salmon was. While the flavours of the bearnaise and bacon onion jam matched well, it personally did not suit my taste palate. I felt that the sweetness of the bacon onion jam was both a bit too sweet and overwhelming, and the bearnaise was a bit tasteless. I guess I’d still prefer hollandaise sauce with my egg ben. Then again, they did name it eggs Benjamin and not eggs benedict for a reason. With how generous they were with the smoked salmon, I’d think this would make both a decent, extremely filling and fulfilling breakfast.

Central location with pretty decent food! Not the best carbonara I’ve tasted but I’m definitely not complaining because of the good deals here (really appreciate that they do 50% off instead of 1-1)

Might wanna come back to try the weekend brunch menu instead!

Already eaten here twice with the Burpple 1-for-1 deal! 50% off mains is a really worth-it promotion and the food is pretty good too. Can't go wrong in my opinion 😋

Thought the brekkie burg ($19) might be a touch surfeiting but it really impressed me! The party was juicy with a great bite, the scrambled eggs creamy and well seasoned. A very good medley of flavours once you add the garlic butter and onion jam!

Was inexplicably drawn to the HCP ($16.50) but it was a little underwhelming. The baguette had a soft fluffy bite but got stale when cooled, and the medley of cheeses sounded more vibrant than it actually tasted. Enjoyed the contrast of acidic giardiniera against the salted meats!
