Eggs ben-jamin ($21) (burrple price - $10.50) consisted of wilted spinach, bacon onion ham, bearnaise, home-cured bacon and english muffin. thank you for letting me try a bit (my friend)(saw a lot of people to order this also too
Truffle Scrambled Toast ($23) (burrple price -$11.50) consisted of scrambled truffle eggs 🥚, rye sourdough toast, sautéed mushrooms 🍄 , sautéed spinach topped with grana padano and truffle oil. I felt that it’s was quite oily and also quite filling for brunch. I like rye sourdough toast as it’s quite soft and also a bit sour aftertaste.
Matcha Latte (iced) ($6.50) was mixed well with milk 🥛, I felt it’s was quite thick texture and a bit sweet and bitter aftertaste.
Eggs were scrambled well and nicely perfumed with truffle, with a thin layer of grana padano blanket 🧀 . We also loved the sautéed spinach and mushrooms, but I found the rye sourdough too toasted and tough to chew on (might be a personal pref thing!)
I’m guilty of getting this EVERY single time I’m here tho I rly wanna try the other dishes 🥲
This might look like a basic bish dish but every component is well-executed!! The spinach and bacon onion jam complement the poached eggs (and hollandaise sauce), while the English muffin is airy and absorbs the sauces perfectly without turning soggy. 👌Adding on the smoked salmon just cos..... it’s smoked salmon & I love it 🥵. One thing tho, I wished the bacon was less cooked as it was slightly tough and needed some jaw exercise 💦
The portions are generous and the food is tasty! Great place to chill after a workout around the area ;)
