Eggs Benedict and steaks & egg.
Portions are smaller and price more expensive since the menu revamp.
However, food is still pretty decent. And their coffee is great.
๐Ÿ’ธ: $39.70 (for food)

We were less than pleased with the ๐—™๐—ฟ๐˜†-๐˜‚๐—ฝ ($25), which reminded me of a clothing brand: SUPER DRY! The combination of fried eggs, rock-hard bacon, fried potatoes and chorizo rendered my throat parched. The sauteed mushrooms alleviated the dryness and the baked beans in salsa (?) were a godsend. Did no one think that adding some greens to this dish would make it more palatable?

I liked the ๐—™๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฒ ($5.50), which was smooth and robust. The mains we chose today were hit and miss, so next time we'd stick to the tried and tested Truffle Scrambled Eggs.

Sarnies has been on the scene long enough that it needs no introduction. Aussie style brunch and good coffee keep the crowds coming back. As the interior is small and cramped, the outdoor seats are recommended.

With Burpple Beyond 1-for-1, the first item we had was the ๐—˜๐—ด๐—ด๐˜€ ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ป-๐—ท๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป ($23). Perfectly poached eggs, crunchy baby spinach and crispy bacon on top of fluffy sourdough meant this classic brunch number met all expectations. The smoked ham (+ $3) was excellent too, so we were highly satisfied with this dish.

Took 30% off bill for brunch mains :)
Ordered steak & eggs $28 & Fry up $24-25 if im not wrong. Came on a sat afternoon around 1.45pm and managed to get an outdoor seating without waiting. Food didnt take long to come too.
(They dont take reservations for brunch)

Steak was done medium-rare though they did not ask for my preference of how i wanted it done, but was not bad considering that it was within the same price range as the other mains. Scrambled eggs were cooked to my personal liking (not too fried or undercooked).

Fry up: Not the biggest fan of the bacon (tasted more like thick pork belly instead). Everything else was ordinary as it was but happy with the hugeee portion size.

Total: 2 steak & eggs, 1 fry-up, 1 flat white
Damage done: $72 after 30% off mains

honestly quite worth with burpple bc you pay around $21 after the discount! I read reviews saying that the portions were huge but I didnโ€™t realize just HOW huge until I ordered it. itโ€™s the most massive breakfast set Iโ€™ve ever seen and they had to place the sourdough bread on top of the food because there wasnโ€™t enough space to lay it down. the food was decent! although the bread I had was a little hard and stale and it would have been nice with butter? or some other spread! otherwise the portions are value for money given the price that you are paying haha but Iโ€™m not sure if Iโ€™ll go back again for such a huge portion!

Great brunch location in city. Crowded even on Sunday! Quite big portion size. Had difficulty finishing 1 main per pax. Rather limited indoor sitting.
