For the pasta base, I opted for Penne (I love how this pasta traps the sauce) with Tomato Pasta Sauce (S$3.90). I upsized the portion at an additional cost of S$0.50. I added Shitake Mushrooms (S$1.00), Smoked Duck (4 slices)(S$2.00) and Chicken (S$2.00). All in all, I paid S$9.40* for this huge bowl of lip-smacking pasta dish. There was a good balance of the creamy and tom yum tastes. If you are a gravy lover like me, you will love the overflowing sauce in this pasta dish as every strand of spaghetti was well-coated with the spicy and flavourful sauce. But it was a challenge for me to eat this peppery dish during the lunch hour as the sweltering afternoon heat was unbearable. The eating place was hot and stuffy as well. I will probably order takeaway or dine here in the evenings if I am eating this dish again. (Date: 11 April 2016 Monday)
Savis Foods have moved from Golden Mile Food Centre to Kopitiam Square at Sengkang, offering the same make-your-own-pasta and chops previously available at the old location (the new stall taking over Savis Food at Golden Mile is a Korean stall named Top Bob). Grilled Chicken was flavourful with tender meat but was a little dry, while the fries were well seasoned in salt. Cauliflower was buttered and boiled, though a little too soft.
Delicious and it's different from the others... good stuff!! 很好吃 the savis food located at B1... the unit I m not sure.... will visit them again
