Okay lah, just not as great as I remember it. The benchmark is must be hot and wet.

Dafuq hahaha this is no tart, it has no banana flesh. It's literally a banana cake stuffed into a tart base. Even if it's decent, it's confusing.

This yam puff is BOMBBBB it tastes soso good! The yam filling is a bit on the artificial side but it's sweet and has a pretty strong yam taste, really nice. The puff pastry is those that melts in the mouth, really great stuff. I'd 1000% get this again, its a little pricey for the small size but its a quick and comforting snack to have on the go. Plus there arent many yam puffs readily being sold in Singapore so that makes it all the more worth a try!

The confusion I had with this tart... I was expecting this to be a pastry with banana filling but turns out, it's literally a banana cake in a buttery crust 😭 like ya'll can't just wrap some pastry dough around a cake and call it a tart pls sjsjwnqk

My confusion aside, this is a really solid cake! Suuuuper fragrant and delicious with a strong banana aroma. The pastry is also really buttery, crumbly and melts in the mouth. Hella good πŸ‘

Please don't be misled like I was, this is very much a cake with some pastry dough wrapped around it LMAO if you like banana cakes, this is good and worth a try but for the size it's a tad bit pricey.

It's v sweet, almost like sweet filling. Honestly I don't think I will know for sure that it's char siew if u didn't tell me. There's some complexity, the pastry was quite average.

Siew pau sold out so I bought chicken pau instead. I remember their siew pau was good but I don’t quite like this chicken pau. Somehow the fillings are too soft to my liking. I prefer to have some bite instead of just mushy fillings. I like the skin though, it’s crispy and not too thick.
