Or soontofu as they call it. Pillowy soft and silky handmade tofu embedded in a sea of gochu pepper soup (you can choose your spiciness level, and it is less spicy than it looks). I've gone with the comforting Mild spice, and seafood mix - that offers a heavenly combination of squid, clams and prawns! I do think the soup runs out fast especially with the abundance of ingredients.

It comes with banchan side dishes, a fried fish and traditional claypot rice too. Esp love the crispy rice. What a feast. (~$20). Ps. There's complimentary yakult too.

If you're here for the first time, checking out the combo may be worth it

Bibimbap was nice and ingredients were generous but did not stand out compared to the other dishes. Ordered it as a combo so there's no meat option.

Tangy and appetising fried chicken that reminds me of nicely fried gulouyok but more tender. Ordered this as a combo with the sundubu which was yummy as well. Highly recommend!

cost like $35++ and the soup was just MEHHH
the only good thing was probably that fish there haha ok done bye

Sweater weather is ending, but here is a cozy Tofu Stew that warmed me up.

Each stew set comes with banchan (side dishes) and rice. The banchan I received includes deep fried yellow fish, fermented squid (which I absolutely love, swipe to see), kimchi & seaweed. Requested for extra fermented squid multiple times because I like it so much.

Can’t wait to be back!

I am now a soondubu convert after trying this place :-) The soondubu is handmade and silken and really quite wonderful! I got the ham & cheese rendition ($21.90), which is rather pricey especially for luncheon meat, but it was still worth paying for - and it tastes like army stew!

The sides are very generous as well and I must say this meal fills you up really quickly even though it doesn’t feel like a sizable portion. Definitely worth a visit!
