Being the first of such concepts in the Paradise Group portfolio, Seafood Paradise was the spark that helped catapult the success of the group to greater heights, to over 100 outlets worldwide today. The wonderful piece of news is that Seafood Paradise, which had a two-year hiatus previously, has finally reopened at a spanking new location in VivoCity, serving diners with the signature dishes and new additions of dim sum during lunchtime. Signature dishes that many can look forward to includes the Creamy Butter Sri Lankan Crab topped with Coconut Crumbs ($9.50 per 100g) which you can taste the aromatics in the sauce that contains curry leaves, white pepper, lemongrass and chilli padi. Besides the butter crab, you can also order the Singapore Style Chilli Sri Lankan Crab ($9.50 per 100g), which you can mop up the sauce with deep fried mantou.

Other highlights include the Poached Live Tiger Prawn with Chinese Herb in Superior Stock ($29/$41/$53), Crispy Kang Kong topped with Cuttlefish in Homemade Seafood Sauce ($15.80/$22.80/$30.80), Deep-fried Cheese Bacon Roll ($12.80), Steamed Dragon Tiger Grouper with Preserved Turnip ($9 per 100g) and Baked Pork Belly Rib with Honey Pepper Sauce ($8.90). Overall, the dishes are packed with flavours and aroma, and Seafood Paradise is definitely a Chinese restaurant that is worth looking out for in your next dining adventure.

To celebrate the opening, there will be a 50% off weekly promotion of such nostalgic dishes from 12 April to 9 May for Citi, Maybank and PGR Cardmembers, terms and conditions apply. Each week will feature a different dish that is applicable to the promotion, with the first week being the Signature Creamy Butter Sri Lankan Crab, second being Boston Lobster tossed with salted egg yolk, third being Steamed Dragon Tiger Grouper with Preserved Turnip and final week is the Poached Tiger Prawn in Superior Stock.

Cuttlefish is nicely sliced and turned into flower with a springy bite in tasty seafood sauce. The crispy kang kong gives every spoonful of this dish an extra crunch. .

Seafood Paradise of course.

But wait, where is it located? Many people are not aware there is a Seafood Paradise at MBS. They only see the Canton Paradise. This Seafood Paradise is actually hidden at the exclusive floor facing the casino with other top restaurant like Long Chim and Waku Chin.

We recommend this Crab beehoon. As good as the popular crab beehoon at Geylang and similar pricing too all at the comfort of this luxury Chinese restaurant.

We prefer this restaurant over it's next door Imperial Treasure as Seafood Paradise is more Singaporean taste. Budget around $200 for family of 5 if you love seafood.

Ordered a lunch set. Food was decent for the price, ambience was a typical Chinese restaurant in MBS. Ok to bring visitors!

Really love this chilli crab sauce from seafood paradise. Excellent, just kept slurping away with mantou and rice.

Crab is fresh as expected. I will always return here for my special occasions.

Price: $126(1.4kg)
Type: Sri Lanka Crab

Rich in garlic flavour 10/10

Awesome appetiser for what comes after. 🦀

Very expensive though, food only for the special occasion.
