Lobster Penne Pasta A weekly main for the restaurant's Executive Set Lunch... Honest opinion is damn worth the price of $29.90 (gst not included yet) It comes with a free flow of salad bar items, soup and bread, 3 choices of mains (I chose the Lobster Penne Pasta) and for the finale with a choice of any tea or coffee (cold/hot) If you are working at CBD, definitely is worth the visit...
Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore in-house restaurant, SE7ENTH Launched a refreshed dining menu for lunch and dinner, Price starts from $24++ for mains and from $8++ for sharing dishes. Feature my favourite dish : Vongole Pasta Pasta cooked with Garlic, Chili and White Wine and served with clams and scallops. Pasta texture is al dente, neither crunchy nor too soft. Perfect for me 馃構.. 馃挵$26 +$8 for add-on: Scallops. 馃搷 SE7ENTH. Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore. 6 Shenton Way OUE Downtown 1, #07-01.
Australian Wagyu Striploin Steak ($68). You know how crazy the lunchtime crowd at CBD can get, but you probably didn't know that there's this quaint restaurant located in the midst of all the mayhem, along Shenton Way on the 7th floor of Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore. 馃敻 The lunch set menu starts from around $30, but I must also recommend this juicy steak with a crisp herby crust. This well-marbled wagyu from Queensland was seasoned with pink Himalayan salt and herbs and seared till the meat is juicy, succulent and tender. To complete the meal, it was served with grilled asparagus, portobello mushrooms and cheesy polenta. 馃敻 Besides this, they serve good Crispy Chicken Wings with Truffle Maple Drizzle ($12), and some newly launched dishes such as Vegetable Fritters ($8); St. Louis-Style Barbecue Pork Ribs ($36); Pan-Seared Salmon ($34); and Vongole Pasta ($26). 馃敻 [Tasting] #oakwoodpremier #foodphotography #fujixh1 #exploresingapore #burpple #singaporeinsiders #eatoutsg #foodiegram #sgfood #foodsg #instasg #foodstagram #instafood #instafood_sg #hungrygowhere #cafesg #foodgasm #sgfoodblogger #vscofood #sgig #cafehoppingsg #stfoodtrending #flatlay #sgdinner #dinnersg #appetizer #cbdeats #burpproved #wagyusteak #burpplesg

sated caramel banana brioche french toast ($15) the french toast was light and fluffy, carrying a cinnamon fragrance. my only gripe was that the toast was slightly dry. nevertheless, served with caramelised bananas, berries and an artful brush of caramel sauce, this plate was a delightful way to start my weekend. using burpple beyond for this also made my wallet happier 馃構 rating: 6.5/10
bacon carbonara ($15) this dish tasted homely and comforting with its creamy and milky sauce that covered every strand of al dente spaghetti without being cloying. bacon bits were studded throughout the pasta and parmesan shavings also generously topped it off to enhance its richness. i thought the pricing was also quite affordable given that it鈥檚 nett, but using burpple beyond made it unbelievably worth it :0 rating: 7/10
big brekkie ($19) this dish boasted generous portions with uncompromising taste. i liked how you can choose from 3 different kinds of eggs - scrambled, onsen or sunny side up. my choice of onsen egg was perfectly jiggly and went well with the toast, though larger toast portions would better balance out the entire plate as I felt that every other aspect of this dish tasted better when paired with the toast, yet there wasn鈥檛 enough to go around. despite that though, the sausage was sizeable with a substantial chew without being overtly oily. the avocado and mushrooms were also well seasoned. using burpple beyond definitely made this extra worth it!!! rating: 7/10

Spicy Salmon Don Le Coq鈥檚 Spicy Salmon Don! I topped up $1 to change sushi rice to quinoa and it was definitely the right decision to do so. My dinner partner was so jealous of my quinoa (cus he didn鈥檛 change his) the entire dinner! 鈦 鈦 They were super generous with the salmon, I was literally left with chunks of salmon towards the end of my bowl. Freshness and the texture of the salmon was acceptable for this price (also because I had burpple beyond, it was 1-1!!!). 鈦 鈦 Would definitely go back again to try the other signatures on the menu esp the signature roasted chicken!鈦
Delicious Roast Chicken with Quinoa Came here for lunch using 1-1 burpple beyond, ordered the roast chicken rice and the truffle beef don. Firstly notice the serving size difference, the Beef Don was tiny !! It barely tickles the stomach, even though its was same price ($16.9 nett) as the chicken dish which came with two chicken legs and a decent amount of quinoa. I'd feel robbed if I was paying full price. The roasted chicken was delicious, tender, well seasoned and the quinoa tasted like chicken rice but with Quinoa instead which is much healthier. It was one of the recommended dishes on the menu. Won't be coming back for the truffle beef don that's for sure.
Mushroom Aglio Olio ($16) Aglio olio is a simple dish that most people can hardly execute well, but Le Coq is not most people. I love how smokey and garlicky this dish is, although it is definitely not for the purists. Loaded with mushroom to give an earthy note, the angel hair pasta was addictive and a lil spicy.

Healthy Warm Salad Bowls At Affordable Pricing I ordered 2 servings of honey soy, 1 serving of aglio olio fusilli, 2 servings of mushrooms, 1 serving of brussel sprouts, 1 serving of honey almonds and 1 pistachio delight as my sauce. This was all done using their online portal and I paid $4.90 after their 15% discount for online orders. I really liked the pistachio sauce as it had a nutty fragrance along with a strong garlicky punch to it. The amount was just nice too as I had a late breakfast and I couldn't eat too much for lunch. A standard warm salad bowl would've been too much for me to finish. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent Value For Money In CBD Away with standardised salad/grain bowls in CBD area. YOBO offers pay per portion concept, with bonus add on macros nutrition information. Excellent for girls as there won鈥檛 be food wastage due to those standard sized salad/grain bowls. You can have a bowl of 400 kcal (recommended kcal for me) for approximately $7! All items, including sauces are made in house! Would recommend: broccoli pur茅e!
For Delicious Build-Your-Own-Bowls in the CBD Make note of this spot on Cecil Street for quick, customisable lunches. Their Small bowls ($8.90, or 1-for-1 with #BurppleBeyond) includes a base, protein, three sides, one topping and sauce of your choice. Keep it healthy with Japanese brown rice as your base, and tender chicken breast for protein. Burppler Zac Lee recommends adding on their creamy and smooth broccoli pur茅e for an extra fifty cents, while Burppler Gan Zhang Xun suggests topping it off with their kale chips for an earthy bitterness.
