Michelin Standard Noodles Miso mushroom noodles and veggie dumplings and pierogi dumplings If any noodles should be given a Michelin award , this would be it . I haven鈥檛 had a bowl of noodles that is this good in such a Long time. Every element in the bowl screams handmade . From the springy noodles to the well braised mushrooms. The Fried shallots , Fresh spring onions and the seaweed as as well as the creamy onsen eggs all came together in a unmami-ous party 馃帀 The dumplings were ok - I would prefer for the skin to be slightly thinner - my favourite gyozas are still the ones by hakkata ikkoushu ramen at Chijmes - with that delish Yuzu sauce ! Quite a waste that they are opened on Sundays so do take note 馃憣

Dumpling Darlings @dumpling.darlings - Lunch Special Set Meal - 1) Choice of your egg noodles, 2) Choose your dumplings, 3) Choose your ice-cold goodness (馃挼S$16) . . Here鈥檚 my choice; SiChuan Pork Noodles, Spicy SiChuan Dumplings and Longan Osmanthus Pu-Erh. I am such a slut for anything SiChuan, the balance of spiciness and the numbing sensation is addictive as coke, however their version is much more tame. Their homemade egg noodles doesn鈥檛 have the alkaline after taste which is much appreciated. . The dumplings are your usual pork filled dumplings, steamed then topped with SiChuan oil and seasoning. Nothing spectacular hence it鈥檚 better for you to be a little more adventurous and try other flavours like; Fried Pierogi &/or Smoked Duck. There鈥檚 a 1-for-1 Lunch Set available on Burrple Beyond.

Dumpling party 馃 The skin of the dumplings were nicely seared and crisp on one side, smooth and silky on the other. Generous fillings too! In order of my personal preference: The original > fried pierogi > smoked duck > veggie mandu > moko curry Interesting flavours all in all - they even have dessert dumplings! I'd say it's worth a try, but make a reservation or get in line early to avoid a long wait!

Lemon & Dill Fettuccine, Alfredo Sauce, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, White Wine Vinegar Mussels From this new establishment at North Bridge Road taking over the former premises of now-defunct Hyde & Co. from The Black Hole Group (which runs Working Title, The Mad Sailors, Santap and The Great Mischief) that serves up handmade pasta, mix-and-match style. Liked how the combination ended up light, but still creamy 鈥 the Alfredo sauce matched well with the Lemon & Dill Fettuccine; some al-dente, the pasta carries a bite without being brittle and carried a slight herby note amidst the creamy sauce; pretty uplifting and a harmonious blend together. White Wine Vinegar Mussels are reasonably fresh, though on the small side 鈥 can鈥檛 complain too much though; an addition of just $3 as a premium topping, the portion of three mussels is seemingly generous. A decent Muslim-run spot that is worth checking out if in the Kampong Glam neighbourhood.

Pistachio & Yuzu Feuilletine Cake ($8) We wanted something light to end our meal with so were surprised how chocolatey this cake was, especially when there was no mention of chocolate in the dish name. The light flavours of both yuzu and pistachio were both overpowered by the ganache blanketing the cake. Even the feuilletine layer was mixed with chocolate.

Beetroot & Garlic Fusili, Aglio Olio with Saut茅ed Prawns and White Wine Vinegared Mussels ($9.90, +$6 for toppings) We were very sad when we first tried the fusili cos it was overcooked, some more than the others. 馃挃 The aglio olio was watery, and wasn鈥檛 garlicky enough (they use garlic slices). The saut茅ed prawns and mussels were also quite dry and not worth the $6 top-up ($3 each). Probably best to stick with the fettucine and other sauces.
