Got 2 veg + 1 meat ($3.30) - wasn’t fond of the taste of preserved vegetables in the beans / eggplant, but loved the garlic & dried shrimp in the cabbage. Chicken had a little too much batter but it was crispy!

Hot Claypot Noodles + Salted Egg Yolk Diced Chicken For 2pax Top: Claypot noodles (medium size: $10) This item is not shown on the menu.. the lady at counter mentioned that some items that are not stated in the menu can be checked with her directly. Bottom: Salted egg yolk diced chicken (small size : $10) the egg yolk sauce is flavourful and every pcs of the diced crispy chicken is coated with that sauce.. 👍

Claypot Noodles Price: $10

Hualong Roast Meat Fried Rice Hualong is usually good, albeit expensive, but this signature dish was awful. It tasted like just soy sauce rice and the meat was mediocre.

Horfun Hua Long's food is really quite good, albeit expensive. I tested them on the most ubiquitous of zichar dishes and it turned out slightly better than others.

Seafood Carbonara Soup hahaha wtf. For those who know authentic carbonara is dry, this is ridiculous. But I like cream sauce so I'm not complaining. Kudos on the good squid and prawns too.

Wanton Kway Teow Soup ($3) A cold rainy afternoon called for a soupy lunch. Unfortunately, while this dish was beautifully presented, it didn't really deliver in terms of taste. Soup was too light and bland while the rice noodles weren't as chewy as I had hoped. The wantons... really tasted more like flour than meat. That said, the char siew was still pretty decent. And because I love my wanton mee, I wouldn't write off this stall just yet. Hopefully the dry version will fare better!

Hong Kong Noodles ($4.00) The dish looked better than the menu picture on the wall and tastes ever better. The noodles itself was great with freshly cooked pink prawns and veggies. Overall an amazing simple noodle dish.

Lemongrass Chicken Rice My neighbourhood coffee shop recently opened this new stall selling Vietnamese foods. The portion was huge than I expected, but for $6 it definitely worth it. It could be better if it served warm, the overall taste was great.

Sliced Fish Beehoon 鱼片粗米粉 Delectable bowl of sliced fish thick bee hoon in clear broth. Loved the vegetables too. Yummy!

Rong Kee Wonton Mee ($3.80) Noodles: sweet and savory, bursting with flavor! Can be abit too oily for some people. One of the better wonton mee imo around the area. The staff prepares the meat quite late. If you come in the morning around 8-9am, your probably gonna get served yesterdays leftover char siew. They are quite dry but just drown them in the sauce, it’s salvageable.

Mediocre wanton mee. Mediocre wanton mee. Noodles weren't chewy and if that wasn't bad enough, the sweat dripping off the face of the man making it was a huge turn off.

Ma La Xiang Guo Not a stall I particularly fancy but I was looking for something heavy. Surprised to see they have la mian to add. Quite wonderful tbh. Stir-fried la mian with all the ingredients.

Dry You Mian Nice garnish and mani leaves.

斋鹅 From the economical rice stall. It arrived not crispy, which sucked. Once I toasted it it's nice.

Soon Yan Carrot Cake Love carrot cake with lots of eggs and this stall is very generous with their eggs...love it

Laksa Delightful bowl of delicious laksa. Wallet friendly price. Soft tender cooked cockles, half of hard boiled egg, taupok, sliced fish cake and thick bee hoon. Yummy!

Cai Fan I felt that the veg and own gravy was too much and oily tbh ($3.50). Their meat and veg portion was quite small imo so I don't think that I will returning back. I felt that it's meh tbh.

Fishball Noodles Soup 鱼圆粿条汤 Tasty bowl of fishball kway teow with sliced fish cake. Spring onion and vegetables paired up nicely. Yummy!

Youtiao Rojak Sometimes good, sometimes not good.

Nasi Lemak Wah very generous. And it's a chicken leg, albeit a small bird. Chilli was spicy, which I appreciate. The bergedil was not good.

Meatball Tomato Mixian New stall here seemingly related to the mlxg. Mixian is the next fad. But this was the worst mixian I've eaten. Tomato soup is usually decent but this was more oil than anything. The noodles were overcooked. Only the meatballs delivered. They're so good.

Red Braised Pork Belly Mee Sua We tried mee sua this time because we wanted something lighter. They do a legit version. The bowl of braised food was quite on point. Some pork was kinda tough, but the amount of fats made up for it.

Ginger Scallion Pork Scallion Oil Noodle The style of the pork reminded me strongly of Taiwan/China. It's not common locally at all. But all things considered, this bowl was such a flavour bomb, probably too overpowering.

Braised Pork Belly Bento This wasn't so good because rice is, well, not their scallion oil noodle and the pork was a bit tough.
