Milk Fish Soup with Wagyu Chunk Eye Roll Miss hot pot so much and finally have it after few months since Circuit Breaker started. This round I visited their another branch at One Raffles Place. Surprisingly they still attract lots of diners even though of their location. Because of the safety measures, currently everyone will have their own pot so you could enjoy your hotpot in peace. The meat portion was sufficient for just one person, with the vegetables platter. $26.99++

Heart And Belly Warming Meal Opted for the Wagyu ribeye set meal, with Tom yum and chicken mushroom soup. The soups were tasty, and ingredients were very fresh. Set meal's portion is just nice, and very satisfying! For hygiene purposes, the restaurant also served us the sauces in small bowls for us to take our pick, instead of having a common sauce counter. #burpplebeyond

Seafood Chicken Pot (50% off w Beyond) Seafood chicken pot w spicy fragrant gravy $28.80 ($14.40 after burpple beyond 50% off) Added golden mushrooms $3.20 Super yummy and worth it with burpple 50% deal. Got the Spicy Fragrant gravy in 中辣 and it had the right level of kick. Chicken was tender (has bones but that’s normal for dishes like this), prawns and squid were fresh. M size is good for 2-3 people (3 if you’re small eaters). Worth a try and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fat bird #BurppleBeyond 1-1 House Special Chicken Pot $17.90 Numbing & Fiery Chicken Pot $17.90 Spicy Chicken Cubes $13.80 Hot Plate Prawns $14.80 Total: $71+ Utilised 2 vouchers for 5 pax. Ordered 2 Chicken Pots (Small) and 2 mains and about 5 add-ons into the 2 pots. We preferred the spicy chicken pot over the house special as its more fragrant and the spicies really gave our taste buds a strong kick! Portion of chicken in both pots were alright and we find the side dishes are on the pricier side, like one portion of instant noodles cost $3.90. For the mains, the Spicy Chicken Cubes, the ratio of the dried chillis flakes to the small chicken cubes was like 15:1, but chicken was well fried and flavourful. I like the sauce of the Hot Plate Prawns, and it looked really appetitizing with the colourful condiments. Overall, Beyond made it a fairly good deal especially when dining with friends since the price is on the higher side.

Delicious Alternative To Kaoyu Somewhat similar to kaoyu, where you can choose the gravy and other add ons. Highly recommend the Spicy and Fragrant chicken pot (it's not very spicy 😊)! Burrple 1 for 1, with additional add ons, is sufficient for a group of 4 pax.

Value For Money Steamboat ($29.80) Onepot offers a wide variety of soups and ingredients at affordable prices. You can get up to 3 soups per table and we got laksa, mala and chicken soup. The chicken was a bit plain for our liking but the laksa and mala were flavourful and yummy.

Mala Hotpot buffet for $20?? Yes, with #burpplebeyond it's possible. Although it's not the best, it's not too bad either considering the spread available (scallops, bamboo clams, mutton slices, etc). You're able to satisfy your mala cravings definitely. Do note that your clothes will smell of mala oil after the meal, so just go really casual if you want to!

Good Variety The sauces are pretty standard, & are right by the entrance. Next to that are the ice cream freezer & free flow sugary drinks station - these cost $2 extra (total), which I didn't opt for & I felt I wasn't missing out on much. For meat, I basically whacked the beef & mutton as I usually do. They weren't too fatty, which is great! The other options are pork & chicken. The main section where the rest of the ingredients are saw a large variety seafood (the bamboo clams were a bit smelly though), mushrooms, vegetables, my favourite tang hoon & thick sweet potato noodles, & I must have cracked 4 eggs into the soup nearing the end of my meal 😂 Overall, in terms of variety & quality of food, I was quite happy with what was offered. Give the Xiao Long Baos a miss, though - despite being included in the buffet price, they aren't actually nice. Not much soup inside, & the skin is way too thick. The top is also very stiff & hard (that's what she said). 💷 Cash/NETS only 🖥 Accepts reservations - I used Eatigo for 50% off, clicked through via Shopback for cashback 🍽 Burpple Beyond partner 📱 Accepts GrabPay

Wagyu Ribeye set For just about $25, you could get a decent set of Chicken / Wagyu Beef / Vegetarian etc and pay a little more for premium sets like the Fish / Wagyu Ribeye Beef etc! All sets come with your choice of soup base, basket of vegetables and a staple! Occasionally they have a promotional top up price (about $1-2?) for dual soup base which is super worth it! Free flow of eggs, some sides and sauces for you to choose from. Their portions are pretty generous but if it’s still not enough, you can add on from their ala-carte menu! Recommended soup base includes Sichuan Mala, Fish soup with Milk, Tomato soup & Herbal Chicken soup! I love how their Mala soup is not overloaded with the chilli oil and there is the xiang to it. Freshness and quality of ingredients are guaranteed!

aussie wagyu beef ribeye (1 for 1) the fish soup with milk was the best soup out of all the choices we had (tried tomato, tomyum, herbal chicken). without burpple beyond it would be pretty pricey!! one set cost 49.99 plus additional charges on soup bases and staple (for the lu rou fan) - but this was pretty good. rice portions were small too. think this would be slightly filling for a small eater, but def not enough for someone who eats more~

Hot Pot Beside all the ala carte selections, they also serving set menus to cater different amounts of people starting from 1 pax. Each set meal comes with the essential items from meat, vegetables to staple. Some soup base required additional charge but I like that their soup base are served individually; a perfect choice for current situation where we need social distancing.

Steamboat Buffet When the dishes came, my friend and I were honestly terrified. Please note that the portions come in large, overwhelming servings. That one meat plate is ONE serving. We ordered 2 others of pork!! The meat was tender and fresh, and while I love beef, I would choose pork over beef here. Soup choices were tomato and something mild (i forgot which). Skip the tomato, unless you like drinking tomato sauce. I’d try the mala if given the opportunity to though. Alot of seafood choices here and you get access to the condiments too. Drinks are ala carte. Prompt service! Again I stress that you order what you can first, taking in mind the quantity is huge.

Mala Butter Soupbase Great quality of food with one of the best Mala soupbase in town. $26.80 net buffet price, definitely worth it, eventhough the they charge the soupbase separately. Will come back again.

Sumptuous Hotpot Buffet ($34.80++/person) Amazing buffet and dining experience! The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service, especially Mr Jie. We celebrated a birthday so they gave us a private room that was decorated with birthday balloons. We ordered the laksa soup base (very rich and too thick after awhile) which was recommended by the restaurant, as well as the tomato soup broth. You can even order other side dishes like fried mantou and prawn paste chicken wings which were really delicious! The buffet also comes with sauces that you can mix and match; while some extra drinks or soup bases require an additional top up. Finally, we were served pumpkin dessert to end our meal. It was overall a very pleasant dining experience - good food, clean place (it’s very new too since it was opened not too long ago), friendly staff so it’s definitely worth a visit!
