Value For Money Steamboat ($29.80) Onepot offers a wide variety of soups and ingredients at affordable prices. You can get up to 3 soups per table and we got laksa, mala and chicken soup. The chicken was a bit plain for our liking but the laksa and mala were flavourful and yummy.

Mala Hotpot buffet for $20?? Yes, with #burpplebeyond it's possible. Although it's not the best, it's not too bad either considering the spread available (scallops, bamboo clams, mutton slices, etc). You're able to satisfy your mala cravings definitely. Do note that your clothes will smell of mala oil after the meal, so just go really casual if you want to!

Good Variety The sauces are pretty standard, & are right by the entrance. Next to that are the ice cream freezer & free flow sugary drinks station - these cost $2 extra (total), which I didn't opt for & I felt I wasn't missing out on much. For meat, I basically whacked the beef & mutton as I usually do. They weren't too fatty, which is great! The other options are pork & chicken. The main section where the rest of the ingredients are saw a large variety seafood (the bamboo clams were a bit smelly though), mushrooms, vegetables, my favourite tang hoon & thick sweet potato noodles, & I must have cracked 4 eggs into the soup nearing the end of my meal 馃槀 Overall, in terms of variety & quality of food, I was quite happy with what was offered. Give the Xiao Long Baos a miss, though - despite being included in the buffet price, they aren't actually nice. Not much soup inside, & the skin is way too thick. The top is also very stiff & hard (that's what she said). 馃挿 Cash/NETS only 馃枼 Accepts reservations - I used Eatigo for 50% off, clicked through via Shopback for cashback 馃嵔 Burpple Beyond partner 馃摫 Accepts GrabPay

4 Tier Pagoda Steamboat Went to try the 4 tier pagoda steamboat today鈽猴笍 Options were plenty with different seasonings of meat such as tomyum, barbeque, korean fusion, extra spicy etc. There were also seafood items such as bamboo clams, lala, mussels, sotong, prawn and fish! There were many other ingredients too(which you can check out their menu), alongside drinks and icecream! Had a great feast馃構 The good thing about this place is theres no time limit, thus my friends and I ate for 2.5 hrs haha insane馃槣 2 soup bases and 1 dip could be selected. We chose the pork bone broth and the tomyum soup. I personally wouldnt recommend the pork bone broth as it didnt suit my tastebuds(not that im picky, it just tasted a little weird). The tomyum soup was not bad tho! Overall the buffet was an 7/10 for me as there are plenty of options, but for the price of $22++ before gst during weekday lunch, its a lil steep but a great 4 tier steamboat experience鈽猴笍馃挴馃憤馃徎

Value For Money Porridge Buffet! Wanted to share about this place with $8.80 porridge buffet cos I was quite impressed with their dishes variety and food standard. Dishes are all hot, and they continually replace the dishes with new ones once they run out, couldn鈥檛 really pinpoint any dishes that were not up to standard. My 2 folks were thoroughly satisfied 馃憤馃徎馃憤馃徎

Steamboat Buffet When the dishes came, my friend and I were honestly terrified. Please note that the portions come in large, overwhelming servings. That one meat plate is ONE serving. We ordered 2 others of pork!! The meat was tender and fresh, and while I love beef, I would choose pork over beef here. Soup choices were tomato and something mild (i forgot which). Skip the tomato, unless you like drinking tomato sauce. I鈥檇 try the mala if given the opportunity to though. Alot of seafood choices here and you get access to the condiments too. Drinks are ala carte. Prompt service! Again I stress that you order what you can first, taking in mind the quantity is huge.

Love The Sweet Potato Tteok!! Really love the sweet potato tteok for its pretty pastel purple and the mousse filling inside! Their yangnyeom fried chicken was damn good too! It was a fun experience making our own sauce, putting all the ingredients together to make our own pot of tteokbokki. Well worth the money. (P.s. cheese ring was too much for 2pax. And once it hardens it didn鈥檛 taste as good. Must eat fast)

Tteokbokki Buffet ($18.80) If you鈥檙e a tteokbokki lover like me, this restaurant is a dream come true!! You have the option to customize your tteokbokki sauce (with varying spice levels) and there is a wide variety of rice cakes to choose from. I highly recommend the ones with cheese filling! Also, they have a variety of instant noodles, sweet potato noodles and glass noodles as well! Apart from carbs, they also have vegetables, meat and seafood 馃構 In addition, they have a cooked food section (their fried chicken is sooo good) They also have Korean fish cakes exactly like the ones sold in Korea! Towards the end of the meal, you also have the option of adding rice to your sauce, to make yummy fried rice. And the best part is, everything is free flow! :鈥))) Do note that there is a time limit of 90min though!

Steamboat At East Coast Road Cheaper alternative to hai di lao. Had the buffet with laksa & herbal chicken soup. The laksa broth was thick and shiok. Theres also a "make your own" sauce station

Newly Opened In Katong: A La Carte Steamboat Buffet at $22.80++ Hello Eastsiders, there is a new place for us to indulge our steamboat cravings! "Le Le Pot", a popular la carte steamboat buffet eatery in Tiong Bahru has just opened an outlet close to the junction of Telok Kurau and East Coast Road. In fact, this barely week-old (as of 14th April 2015) casual restaurant is located along the same stretch of shophouses as the famous "Beach Road Prawn Noodles" and "Mad Nest". Everything here is the same as what you get at the original "Le Le Pot" (which is where my geo-tag shows because this place is so new it hasn't got its own one yet). The a la carte buffet is priced at $22.80++ per adult and the soups cost roughly $5 each. After my visit this evening, I can conclude it's pretty worthwhile because apart from a small section of rather deluxe ingredients like "concubine abalone" and fish maw, the rest of the menu is available for buffet customers. Overall, I was satisfied with everything I had. My recommendations would be the sliced beef, sliced pork and pork belly (yes, I do love my meats). All of these tasted really delicious after being cooked in the two soups I had chosen: the Herbal Chicken and the Laksa. The former was light, clean and sweet while the latter wasn't as thick as I feared (can't be too "lemak" for steamboat lah). It was completely drinkable, resembling a soup rather than gravy. Other soups listed in the menu include Tom Yam, Hot & Spicy and Preserved Vegetable. Apart from the ingredients for cooking, there's a selection of side dishes as well. I can't comment on those as I didn't get around to trying them. Address: 382 East Coast Road.

[Zaolek Lok Lok] All-you-can-eat deep-fried skewers sprinkled with a tasty seasoning powder. The batter coating was light and didn't feel overly greasy when bitten into. Very crispy, crunchy and most importantly, fresh. I totally loved the seaweed chicken, ham enoki rolls, prawn rolls, green beans, oyster mushrooms and mantou. Besides fried lok lok, we can also enjoy steamboat lok lok & BBQ lok lok at the same time. Pretty decent selection of dipping sauces - there are 9 types which include Tom Yum, Chilli Crab and Hainanese Chilli. Location: Paya Lebar Kovan Community Club Opening hours: 5.30pm to 11.30pm (Wed-Mon, Closed on Tue) Prices S$24nett/adult (Mon-Thu) S$27nett/adult (Fri-Sun, PH & Eve of PH) Student rate S$20nett (Mon-Thu)
