60° chicken breast ordered the 60° chicken breast [$18.90] and the porky bowl [$17.80] the chicken was super tender and very soft ☺️ porky bowl was just like another pork don and the serving was generous 🐷 unique hipsterish ambience ,, only downside about this place is that some chairs are really dirty and old :/ also wish bb gave a wider variety for the deals ahhh

Choose either FREE Islandwide Delivery OR 20% Discount If You Pick Up From Wheeler’s Yard. Because my brother-in-law picked up the food from Wheeler’s Yard himself, he got a 20% discount. And that translated to a tidy amount of savings since he settled the bill for our whole family at home. The choice of the men was the bestselling “Suki Beef Rice Bowl” ($19.90 before discount) and they very much enjoyed the sliced oyster blade steak in housemade sukiyaki sauce. It’s served with an onsen egg and braised daikon (Japanese radish) on Japanese rice embellished in shio kombu and seasame seeds. While my niece got the healthy “60 Degree Chicken Breast” ($18.90 before discount), a large piece of very tenderly-cooked protein on housemade potato mash accompanied by grilled butter corn, roasted hazelnuts and shio konbu, I opted for my all-time favourite, the “Vegetable Rice Bowl” ($15.90 before discount). The fresh-tasting, Japanese-inspired creation has never failed to satisfy me with its base of Japanese rice drizzled in a sweetish sauce and the silken tofu, mushrooms and assorted vegetables heaped on top. The lovely flavours and textures from the juicy “bok choy”, sweet and smoky roasted corn kernels, crisp haricots verts (they’re the skinny French beans you find mostly served at fine dining restaurants) and the aforementioned braised daikon are what I love most about it. My brother-in-law also added two side dishes for us to share: the very addictive beer-battered, crunchy-fried Furikake Cauliflower ($7.90 before discount) and a Glazed Sweet Potatoes that featured a housemade yuzu soy sauce ($5.90 before discount). We gobbled both of them up along with everything else in no time at all. If you like well-executed tasty dishes that are superb value-for-money, please click on the link in @wheelersyard bio on Instagram to order. They do FREE ISLANDWIDE DELIVERY too if you prefer to #stayhomesg.

Ok Only Located in an quiet neighbourhood, one would have easily missed this place.. I like the quiet and laidback Setting. They have hugh tables to hugh groups and with Social Distancing measures inplace, it was weird. Limited choices for the burpple 1for1, had porky bowl & aglio Olio. Aglio Olio wasn't garlicky enough to my liking. Which is rare, considering how simple this is to make. Porky Bowl was alright only, a Healthier Choice. The Truffle fries were the nicest of what we ordered, fries topping was unique with some seaweed & seasame seasoning, & that was the only saving grace. Why, I Visited Their Sister Company Wheelers estate Which Fared So Much Better Really.

Best For Breakfast Or Light Dinner Ordered Eggs Royale ($23) and Crispy Fish Fillet Tacos ($23). The eggs royale was served with smoked salmon and poached eggs on the top of muffin, dressed with the mayo. I really like the smoked salmon and didn't expect the combination of poached eggs and smoked salmon would be that great. (Strongly recommend) However, the crispy fish fillet tacos was special but the taste only so so. Believe me, it won't be your repeating order in next visit. Taste: 4.5/5 (Eggs royale) & 3/5 (Tacos) Service: 4/5 Environment: 3.5/5 Price: Kinda expensive even with Burpple 1-for-1 (Because it located in CBD area)

Egg White Scramble With Chicken & Avocado ($23). 1-for-1 with #burpplebeyond! Feels like the healthy kind of food that you will want to have after a good workout session. Grilled chicken breast was a little dry, served with sliced avocado on sourdough toast. On the side, egg white scramble, sprinkled with some paprika seasoning, served along a side of spinach salad. Overall a bland tasting breakfast, especially without a creamy egg yolk. Slightly pricey but reasonable thanks to #burpplebeyond! Tagliolini Lobster Pasta DIY ($38). I cooked and plated this myself, I hope I did ok. 🔸 That's the fun part about Zafferano's DIY menu, where Chef Andrea will include all necessary ingredients and sauces, and it's easy to simply heat up the sauces in a pot of boiling water or in the oven, according to the instructions he gives in scroll that came with the ingredients. He'll even include edible flowers and cress for decoration, and that's the game changer when it comes to plating. 🔸 In this pack, you'll receive Chef Andrea's house-made tagliolini pasta, poached half Canadian lobster, a special tomato/lobster sauce, and edible flowers/cress for decoration. You won't go wrong, I can't cook and I think my pasta still tasted good, cos most of the work has been done by Chef Andrea and team.

Today's a special day that Chef @andrea.de.paola and fiancée had been looking forward to, because they were supposed to get married today at a charming location back at chef's hometown in Italy, over the Easter holidays which is a major event for his culture. But covid happened, as we now look forward to their new wedding date in June, as I also look forward to dining in his restaurant by then. 🔸 Here's wishing Chef Andrea and his fiancée a lifetime of love and happiness! The wedding day will come and go, but may your love forever grow 💕 🔸 Pictured: Cioccolato, a chocolate dessert part of his newly launched $148++ five course Chef’s Tasting Menu, which would have to be deferred due to the COVID-19 dining restrictions.

celebratory dinner: part III almost forgot to mention the appetisers! don’t be fooled by the appearance of a small portion of this salmon starter - it’s not only both tasty but also just the right amount of filling for an appetiser :) worth the additional $8 top-up!

Rather Mediocre Pastas Supposedly one of their better pastas, but this turned out as disappointing as the crab pasta. The sauce was really watery and tasted more like water heavily mixed with salt & pepper. The only redeeming point would be the generous servings of seafood, but I wouldn’t order this dish again.

Rather Mediocre Pastas We had the crab pasta here, and for the hefty price tag, it was really disappointing. The sauce was watery and lacked any sort of texture, while the fried soft shell crab was slightly soggy when served. Even with burpple beyond’s 1-for-1, I would hesitate before having their pastas again. Maybe the other mains will fare slightly better.
