Been to Kindkones for 4 times (!!!) and certainly more to come... so much love for this vegan ice-cream from KL. My favourites for this June flavours were Oat milk & cookie, Pink guava lychee sorbet, Raspberry rose pistachio crunch and Peanut butter cup. Trust me, i wanted to get 4 scoops of ice-cream all by myself, but i was quite full from my lunch 😂 (First world pain when you had to make just ONE selection among the favourites🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️) 〰️ Featured above is Peanut ButterCup - SGD6.90 🌱 - Think of your favourite Reese’s Peanut Buttercup, you’ll love this Vegan Version: generously folded into classic coconut cashew base and packed with roasted peanuts chunks for extra crunch. Yummmz🌱🥥 🥜 PS: Allergy notice - Contains Peanut ‼️‼️‼️ 〰️ Good to note. Flavours rotate every month, so be sure to catch it while you can! 🤩🍦 • #burpple

Salted Chocolate Chip & Sticky Toffee Pudding Freshly churned from scratch, Kind Kones’ repertoire of flavours are just the thing for a guilt-free midday treat after a heavy meal and the answer to a sweltering afternoon. Delicate but distinctive, each creation I tried was surprisingly smooth and creamy unlike most vegan ice creams which hold a curdled appearance as well as grainy texture. Thus, rewarding myself with a Double Scoop ($6.50/ Standard, $8/ Premium), I got the Salted Chocolate Chip and premium Sticky Toffee Pudding to share. A simple classic accentuated with the use of all-natural and chemical free ingredients, the gluten-free goodness is a blend of coconut milk, cashew milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, dairy free chocolate chips and of course, sea salt. Chocolatey yet light and not overly sweet, the Salted Chocolate Chip was decadent without being too cloying. On the other hand, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was a more unusual offering that delivered in its textures. Studded with soft coffee cake chunks, it is made with a base of cashew milk, coconut milk, almond milk, coffee espresso, vanilla, cinnamon, and dates. The taste of the plant-based milks was quite subtle and well-balanced with the bitter notes of the coffee. Overall, a great alternative to indulge in when the craving of ice cream kicks in.

Everything Chocolate 🍫 I am loving this chocolate coffee walnut cake from kind kones - and even a little bit more so than their ice cream😜 Everything is vegan here - not necessarily saying that it’s more healthy but it will suit the diet of those who can’t eat eggs and dairy 🥛 products . The coffee walnut cake is fluffy , moist and has a light aroma of dates ( even though dates are not mentioned as one of its ingredients ) . Really one of the best cakes I have eaten . Pair this with their chocolate sorbet for a chocolate 🍫 coma .

[Invited Tasting] I scream for ice cream! Especially when it comes to the insanely beautiful cones from Emack & Bolio's! 🍦❤ . Emack & Bolio's - one of, if not the best ice cream parlour in America - has landed in Singapore and their arrival brings with them a whole variety of outrageous flavours (35 to be exact!) and crazy cones which will be sure to bring you loads of happiness! 😄 . From flavours like their out-of-this-world Cosmic Crunch and Space Cake to wacky flavours like their Stoney's Dream and Gabba Gabba Gooba, you can go wild customising your cones/cups with whatever flavour combinations you can dream up. The only limit is your imagination! 💡. And the party doesn't just stop at the ice cream flavours! 🙌 Emack & Bolio's also has a variety of cones - Sugar, Waffle, Chocolate and Marshmallow - which will complement their delicious scoops perfectly! Out of all these cones, I highly recommend getting their Marshmallows Cones ($3.50) - chewy marshmallow goodness studded with childhood cereal favourites like Fruity Pebbles, Coco Pops, Froot Loops and Rice Krispies 😋 . Featured here is a Triple Scoop ($15) - "Deep Purple" Chip, Matcha and Chocolate Addiction (from top to bottom) - on a Froot Loops Marshmallow Cone! 😍 . As a chocoholic, I really enjoyed their Serious Chocolate Addiction 🍫 flavour which is essentially a chocolate moose ice cream with fudge chunks and chocolate flakes. The generous, and I mean REAL GENEROUS, serving of fudge chunks and chocolate flakes along with the rich chocolate taste have me completely hooked on this flavour! Their "Deep Purple" Chip, black raspberry ice cream with white and dark chocolate chips, is another flavour which I like. Besides being sweet, it is also tangy and as such, will appeal to those who do not have much of a sweet tooth! 👍 . The Matcha though? I would have preferred for it to be more bitter. As it was, it was a tad too sweet for my tastebuds 😅 . All in all, Emack & Bolio's has an excellent variety of ice cream flavours for you to take your tastebuds on a sweet escape! 🍫🍬🍰 . . . . . Thanks Andy @emackandbolios.sg for the kind invite, warm hospitality and the lovely ice cream treats ❤

Cookie Dough With Marshmallow Cone (9.50) Despite the fact that I asked for the smallest scoop, I found this to be quite a lot and didn’t manage to finish the come (which was very sweet). The ice cream is pretty good, but I don’t think it’s worth it for the price - I’m glad I tried it but I don’t really feel like eating it again.

Sesame Waffles! Waffles is true to its name as it have strong sesame taste but it crumbles easily. Lychee ice cream with lychee bits is a nice touch. Was having a difficult time to choose which ice cream to pair with the waffles.

Biscoff + Pistachio Nut Ice Cream This very underrated ice cream shop off Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 serves a kicker of an ice cream! I’ve tried the Biscoff and Pistachio Nut Ice Cream with their homemade cone ($8). The homemade cone was crisp and fresh, and the ice cream was luscious and not too sweet to overpower the otherwise distinctive flavours. It may be more expensive than the usual, but the big scoops make up for it!

A hidden gem in the heartland of Ang Mo Kio; OCD Cafe which stands for Obsessive Cholat Desire, is located in the same stretch along the renowned bakery Pine Gardens. I'm really impressed with the ice-cream here and all the items are reasonably priced. My favourite has to be the Gateau au Chocolate Cake with Avocado Gula Melaka ($8.00) The moist chocolate cake melts in my mouth and the 🥑 ice-cream is creamy and not too overwhelming. Here are the rest of the items we had; Madagascar 33% Milk with (Original/Chocolate/Sesame) Waffle $7.60 French White Chocolate with (Original/Chocolate/Sesame) Waffle $7.60 Signature Hot Chocolat (Triple Choc) $6.00 Signature Hot Chocolat (White, Dark) $5.00 Ice Cream Single Scoop with Homemade Cone ($4.60 each) 1) Mao Shan Wang Sorbet 2) OCD Yuzu 3) Lychee Raspberry 4) OCD Signature 85% African Dark 5) Signature 72% Brazil Dark Nitro Cold Brew Coffee ($5) Thanks @singaporefoodlisting for the invitation and @ocd_cafe for having us.
