Authentic Korean BBQ with great service Loved the freshness of the food

Jajangmyeon ($14) This may be a BBQ place but boy do they serve a mean jajangmyeon. I don't like fatty cuts but guess what, the meat they used was LEAN!!! It made way for potato & onion to be added to the black bean sauce, adding a new depth of textures I've never had in a jajangmyeon. Also comes with adequate portions of banchan at the side. Nondescript store and pretty empty on a weekday dinnertime. At $14 this is a certified STEAL.

Pork & Kimchi Stew (Lunch Set) Came here in the afternoon slightly around 1pm+, place was already full house but glad to be served swiftly without any prior reservations (phew) Had the lunch set (~$9.9++) with side dishes! Love how there’re many selection of mains, kbbq items and sides dishes to choose from — though I wish they also provide us with complimentary drinks/barley tea!

Normal Kbbq Didn’t manage to take a photo of the food. Ordered ala carte pork belly and soy sauce pork shoulder. The shoulder was very salty. Probably recommending the spicy one if y’all want to try the pork shoulder. Was told the sides and vegetable (for wrapping) was non-refillable, which was a first in a kbbq restaurant for me. Staff helped to cook the meat too so you just have to sit there and enjoy the food. Spent around $50 for the two cuts of meat (22+24). Have to do reservations as almost all walk ins were rejected.

One Of Our Favourite Spots In Singapore For Authentic Korean Food Personally feel like this place is too underrated!! The restaurant is run by a real Korean Ahjumma so you know it’s the real deal. They serve a decent variety of Korean dishes but we always come back for the KBBQ sets which are damn worth it ($52-$62 if I’m not wrong). The meat that comes with the Kbbq sets are of excellent quality, very chonky boys that are marinated well. The staff will help you cook the meat and they always do such a good job so as each piece of meat comes out tender and not over or under done. They also have a very extensive selection of sides and they are not stingy with them! Pls do pay them a visit and give them some love, I’ll be very sad if this place closes down.

Korean BBQ Set $57 Set included beef, pork shoulder, pork belly, chicken, steam egg & soup. Veg & small dishes free flow. Taste good. We r not eating beef, they change to pork for us. Pork very nice, not smelly. Chicken is very juicy. A bit more for 3 small eater. They will serve & cook for u, just eat n enjoy. Price included GST, charging 10% service. Will bk again.

Hello Korean BBQ 📍Hello Korean BBQ - Spicy Chicken🍗 - Steamed Egg🍳 - Kimchi Pancake🥘 - Peach Soju🍑 - Grapefruit Soju🍶 - Sprite X 2🥤 - Sides🥢 The spicy chicken is quite standard, spicy but not too spicy, generous portion, quite value for money, not bad eh... The kimchi pancake is thick, crispy on the surface while being moist and chewy inside, the kimchi is a little sour and spicy, can’t get enough of it, but super filling, good for sharing. Find the steamed egg a little bland, suggest to skip that... Complimentary sides, to my surprise, their sides are actually quite nice eh, not because they are free okay... Soju for the night, cheers~ Damage: $70.50 (excluding the kimchi pancake)

Korean bbq in a coffeeshop Price is affordable compared to dining in a restaurant. Meat selection is good too. Only downside was that hoping to have more fried side dishes which sadly isn't. Seafood like cuttlefish is quite tough. Overall, quite decent.

GUKBAP GYALL 🤩 You already knoooooooooo… Went to good ol’ Sampo and this time I got the pork gukbap. I really like this one! The soup was great and the pork was soft and nice. Absolutely crushed this dish as well as all the banchans that came along with it (as expected 🤭)

Affordable Korean Barbecue This restaurant serves authentic Korean food and buffet at an affordable price. At $25+ per pax. Their service was fantastic. Overall worth the money!

Kimchi Pancake The kimchi pancake was crispy and the serving was large too!

Steamed Egg The steamed egg was fluffy and tasty, making it a side that balanced the other rich food we ordered here.

preferred the ala carte to kbbq we got the pork set A which came w: - soup (we chose sundubu, generously filled w seafood & tofu! more ingredients than soup😂) - steamed egg (super tasty!!!) - but pork was overcooked, tough and dry😞 kimchi pancake was one of the best i’ve had!! flying fish roe rice balls were okay~ banchan were yummyyy

Samgyeopsal Grilled meat and naengmyeon is always a good idea 😍😍 I liked how @charim.sg offers grilled sides and a good number of side dishes as well. The meat was tender and the steamed egg was tasty too 😋

Went viral on TikTok with 460k views! Similar to many, I got to know about Charim through the viral TikTok video but only came down to support in May 2022. Ordered their Set A (SGD65) that consist of pork belly, salted pork neck & sliced pork belly, including a soup (kimchi/soybean/sundubu) of your choice & steamed egg. Ordered their Prime Beef 180g (SGD42) too for a more complete experience! Everything is good in general, including the service… But at least for me, nothing really stood out that makes me want to queue for Charim again. Long story short, I wished other restaurants also have the grilled kimchi and beansprouts by default😬

No-frills kbbq Tucked at the back of @100ammall, @kimildo_singapore offers kbbq meat platters at lower prices than what you usually get in the area. Each meat platter comes with tteokbokki and steamed egg but lettuce is chargeable at $3/serving. I liked how the samgyeopsal was grilled to be crisp and the beef was pretty good too. We also got a geabab and a kimchi stew, my friends liked the kimchi stew for it's thickness and flavour. The kimchi and side dishes offered were quite different from the usual and were more like pickles (swipe to see more). I would think this is a place for no-frills kbbq and for people who really like sangyeopsal and meat but it doesn't exactly stand out compared to the other places I've eaten at 😅

Korean BBQ Menu is limited to beef and pork only. Had beef platter. I think the meat is ok only.. not the kind I will return.

Another great find without a geotag! Kimildo Korean BBQ is not like any you find along the nearby clutter of KBBQs...a see through butchery and pork specialist. The number of ways to to customize your bite made the meal so much fun and explorative. Suggested combinations were terrific, liked how cabbage kimchi took a backseat with various pickled condiments delivering different taste profiles that balanced out the oiliness of the meat. Could tell why cocaine sauce was named so...thoroughly addictive and a taste bomb. Favourite combinations were: 1. Cocaine Sauce, Garlic Leaves, Wasabi 2. Spicy Fish Roe, Salt and Seaweed 3. 4 Colour Set I don't usually eat KBBQs, but decided to pop by 8 Korean BBQ for Chope's June Exclusive Menu. For $88++, we got a 4 Colours Set (u.p. $68) inclusive of a choice of stew. We opted for the Army Stew (u.p. add-on $6). The pork belly came in huge slabs which the staff helped to cook and cut into bite sized pieces. We liked the Miso flavour the most out of the four we chose, the others being Herb, Garlic, and Kalbi. As for the Army Stew, it was decent but nothing outstanding. Lots of ingredients like kimchi, luncheon meat, and chicken pieces inside though. There were also Jumeokbap (u.p. $9), Kimchi Corn Cheese (u.p. $16), and 3 drinks (u.p. $2 each). Overall a hearty meal and we were more than satisfied.

𝟖 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐭 ($𝟗𝟖), 𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 ($𝟐𝟖) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐰 ($𝟐𝟒) What a glorious KBBQ meal i had at 8korean a while ago! Finally visited and saw what the hype was all about!! We got their signature 8 colours set (which was pork belly set of 8 different flavours - original, garlic, herb, red pepper, wine, curry and miso). Honestly, halfway into the meal i couldn’t tell which flavour was what - there wasnt any explanation by the staff too so all based on feels and guesses!! Certain flavours shone more than the others like garlic and red pepper. While the rest did taste different from each other, I couldn’t really recognise the flavours too. BUT was an experience!! Portion was rather little though - each row (as pictured) = one flavour! Special shoutout to the BANCHAN especially the freeflow kimchi that was grilled :”) Also, the staff helped with all the cooking which was LOVELY. I loved the kimchi pancake so much!!!!!!!! The edges were EXTRA crispy and the pancake itself was chewy with the crunchiness of the kimchi itself :9 One of the best pancakes… really… (apologies for kimchi pancake photo - too eager to eat anyhow take photo) We ordered army stew too, which i remembered it to be really good as well (perhaps didn’t stand out as much as the pork and pancake) but the broth was comforting with a kick, coupled with the chewy ramen noodles to accompany our meal.

8-Colour Set The 8-Colour Set ($98) from 8 Korean BBQ comes with pork belly in 8 different flavours (i.e. original, wine, ginseng, garlic, herb, curry, miso, red pepper), a stew of your choice and side dishes. The different flavours are not that distinct but nonetheless, the pork belly is quite delicious! The ratio of fat and meat is balanced, and the pork belly is slightly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The tangy grilled kimchi helps keep the greasiness of the pork belly at bay. The Seafood Soft Tofu Stew (top up $6) is slightly spicy and pretty flavourful as well. Even without rice, this set is super filling for 3 pax! Gloomy ambience and mediocre food The ambience is a bit gloomy. Service is good, but the food is mediocre. We had kalbi, pork collar, kimchi beef stew, and seafood pancake. ALL are inferior to the Korean joints in Tanjong Pagar? Only convenient if you live in the Orchard Rd area and are too lazy to go far.

Premium meat! Good staff & food! Waited a little but is okay because the shop seemed very busy. Ordered: - Army Stew - Pork Jowl - Pork Belly We had 1-1 for the army stew & jowl. Pork belly not included for the burpple deal. Meat cuts were very premium & army stew was flavourful & had a lot of ingredients. VERY SATISFIED. WOULD COME BACK AGAIN. Although if you dont have the burpple deal it gets pricey. Total paid: $65 for 2 pax (with 1 burpple deal)

Meal For 8: $178 With Beyond I ordered the 8 colours set ($98) that comes with a free stew and used 2x 1-for-1. I redeemed 2 korean grilled squid ($22), Army Stew ($24) and a kimcheese fried rice ($20). The grilled squid was grilled to perfection 😍 and it's $11 only for a well marinated squid i'll say its very worthed it. The army stew though... the soup was basically diluted kimchi soup with very little dish in it. I had much better army stew at Seoul Garden hotpot previously. Overall, the service was very good but the food was mediocre. The price is good for big groups at $178 but i wont be back without Burpple :/

Terrible service, and appalling side dish KBBQ in any sense would never go wrong; a great cut, live cooking, and great panchan. It is pretty much a standardised, never go wrong business. But never in my life have I walked into a straight into a kbbq, where by they control the number of servings (max. 2 servings) of their side dishes & lettuces! I was appalled, and the new owners (singaporean chinese owned), do not give a hoot about service too. The rushed meals, and quick cooking (the meat were raw, when the staff insisted that we have to eat now), left the whole family a bad after taste! I did not enjoy the lack of Korean hospitality, leaving us going off, without ordering seconds. Don’t even get me started on their poorly made panchans. Save your stomachs, don’t bother coming here.
