Kimchi Ham Egg Roll Egg roll topped with kimchi and mayo in alternate. Fyi, there isn鈥檛 any ham in the egg roll, it appears in the name just because the texture tasted like luncheon ham.
Free flow army stew on weekday lunches!! 馃挄馃挄 The army stew ($12.90++/pax) is flavourful enough and the first batch is chocked full of ingredients like marinated chicken, chicken sausage, luncheon meat, cheese ball, Korean fish cakes, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, tofu, tteokbokki, leek, cabbage, kimchi, baked beans and a slice of cheese. And to make things better, this comforting bowl of soup is surrounded by a huge ring of cheese! It鈥檚 a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and the first few times I went it was really gooey and cheese pulley, but it was pretty watery on my most recent visit (hopefully it鈥檚 a one-off thing). But only certain ingredients (ramen, sausages, luncheon meat, cheese ball, tofu, kimchi and enoki mushrooms) are refillable so it might get a bit boring after a while. Overall, a good place to hang out (provided they aren鈥檛 busy and don鈥檛 chase you out after 90 min) and pig out (on the free flow side dishes which are self-help so don鈥檛 worry about waiters judging you for refilling 10X) 馃惤馃惤

Sundubu Jjigae [$10.80++] DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER THIS. Worst Korean food ever 馃槨 They wrote in the menu that it's a spicy stew made with soft beancurd, minced pork & egg. They should really change it to beancurd and egg only so that they don't mislead people! The number of minced pork I can find in this claypot is less than the number of fingers I have in one hand. Even the banmian at food court give me more minced pork than them... It is quite a PIG deal as I did not intend to pay $10.80++ for tofu stew seriously?? It's really disappointing when I feedback this to the manager and he replied "Oh it's like this, there isn't much minced pork in the stew." I couldn't believe it. It just sounded like you wanna cheat customers with your misleading menu. Not only that, the kimchi sides they served was so bad, it's sour (with a very strong alcohol taste wts). Been here a few times and I don't know why their standard dropped so much sobs.
Bulgogi Hotplate this came in a heaping pile!!! this was honestly affordable at its size of just $12.80. it also comes w all the side dishes which was surprisingly very tasty especially the potatoes (on the far left). even the egg drop soup was a delight. however, the beef while well marinated was on the tougher and rougher side :( nonetheless it鈥檚 still a very affordable and satisfying meal! . ordered a portion of japchae and sundubu jjigae to share w a friend as well (sadly not in pic). while these were our 鈥渟ide dishes鈥, they actually fared much better imo as the glass noodles were springy and flavour ful without being overly wet + the soup was slightly spicy but super generous w the tofu and minced pork!! the egg stirred into the slightly spicy and sour concoction made it really appetizing as well. wld definitely return for those dishes!!

Set A I have recently taken quite a liking to Korean food and flavors. 馃 And I was so super impressed by this new Korean joint in the CBD! The 2 pax set ($48) comes with pork belly, prime rib, pork shoulder and marinated chicken. It was the perfect portion for two people. The meats were all really good especially wrapped in a lettuce leaf with a piece of kimchi (my favorite was hands-down the marinated chicken thigh; incredibly juicy and flavorful!!) The fact that they provided a charcoal grill resulted in a nice smoky char imparted on the meats. Among the banchan my favorites had to be the chuka wakame (cold and refreshing), sweet beancurd skin and some gochujang-marinated beansprouts. The silken tofu was really nice too. In addition I really appreciated the ring of refillable egg (with crabstick) around the sides of the grill. Provided that extra protein kick. 馃槣 I had it refilled thrice! Oh there's also self-service ice cream ;) chocolate and mango flavor when I made my visit Definitely value for money especially when shared out among 2 people!! :) 9.5/10
Amongst many joints for Korean BBQ in the vicinity, this place was bustling with activities and a consistent queue when we visited for dinner. Their BBQ meats were as good as some others we have eaten at. The free-flow egg around the BBQ plate was a nice touch. Their menu also offered a pretty good variety of Korean dishes (but not my favourite Jajangmyeon). Undisputedly, the star of the meal was their Korean pancake served in a straw basket. Larger than any of our faces, it was alluringly golden brown and amazingly tasty. The best pancake we had in SG by far. The order allowed half-half combination for kimchi and seafood which was great for trying both flavours. So yes, their pancakes would be the reason for us to visit this over other Korean BBQ places.
