Fantastic Meat They've got a promotion going on their website itself so I didn't use beyond for this. Skip the Deluxe buffet and go straight for Premium. For 75 per person (inclusive of gst and all), I thought the meal was really worth it. The meats were beautifully marbled and melted in your mouth. We couldn't help but get more orders of both the kurobuta karubi and wagyu karubi. Highly recommend getting their tonkotsu soup for your hotpot too, it's lovely and sweet.
1 For 1 Burpple Beyond This set was $22.90 but with 1 for 1 it was quite reasonable. Honestly, was expecting more quality for the food but it was average at best. The rice did not look like Japanese rice, I think they used jasmine rice instead. However, the unagi was quite good but I’ve tasted better before. I liked the sashimi! However, portions were quite small and the chicken in the chawanmushi was pink and I did not dare to eat it. Overall, it was quite okay, would not go back there again if I were craving Japanese, could probably get cheaper and better quality food elsewhere. Food: 6.5/10
MUST READ - Great Food But Very Schemy Went because of Burpple, 1 for 1 and because we love Wagyu so we went for the premium On their website the price of their buffet ranges from 40+ with premium at 64.9++ but as soon as they found out we ereee using burple they wouldn't allow the price that everyone else pays normally, instead it was $180 per person after ++ so we ended up paying 90 per person WHICH IS A TOTAL SCAM because it would have been cheaper without Burpple which was 64++ without the Burpple. Food was great but trust me if you read enough reviews you'll realise they are very dodgy and scammy. Another example is the premium was so much more expensive because it's more variety of wagyu AND you get free flow Ben and Jerry's ice cream which is not obvious and I looked everywhere on their menu and couldn't find it. I only knew because I read a review online, otherwise they would have gotten away with us having no free flow ice cream because they never told us, they purposely hide that info from you. Just because they're unethical and dishonest I wouldn't come back here again. Disappointed that you pay for burpple for such a terrible deal. Shame on burpple for allowing this also

Grilled Chicken ($19) Served with mashed potatoes, cuts of yellow melon/cucumber cubes and broccoli, topped with a tomato, the chicken thigh was well-marinated and glazed with vinaigrette-based sauce. The chicken thigh was slightly dry and less fresh; it tasted like breast meat somehow, probably overcooked. Good ambience with nice background music but not good food. ):
BBQ Buffet ($68) As night falls, enjoy a feast of barbeque buffet under the starry starry sky with highlights such as Australian Lamb Rack and NZ Angus Steak from the meat section, Cajun-spiced Prawns, Tumeric-laced Squid and Grilled Mackerel in Banana Leaf from the seafood section. There is also a salad section for you to create your bowl of greens and you can pimp your salad with the bbq meat and seafood! And finish your hot sizzling meal with endless supply of mini Magnums. 😍 FYI: The barbecue buffet dinner is on Friday & Saturday from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM at $68++ per adult and $34++ per child.
Love barbecued food but hate the preparation/grilling like me? - Cocobolo Poolside Bar + Grill at Park Hotel Clarke Quay might just be the best, fuss-free option to satisfy your BBQ cravings. - Indulge in a sumptuous BBQ buffet featuring premium meats like Australian Rack of Lamb (pictured above), N.Z. Angus Steak and U.S. Baby Back Ribs, alongside grilled seafood, array of appetizers and sweet treats. - My favourites gotta be the lamb rack, baby back ribs, tiger prawns, squid and grilled pineapple! I like how the meats/seafood are grilled a la minute and that you can actually request your meats to be grilled to your preferred level of doneness. And those sexy grill lines on the meats make them look exceptionally inviting. Haha! - What's more, dining by the pool means there might be bikini babes/hunks with chiseled abs to look at! Feast for the eyes (and tummy)! hahaha. In case you are wondering, nope, we didn't get to see any eye candy that day. Boo. Then again, who knows you might be lucky? - Cocobolo Poolside Bar+Grill Weekend BBQ Buffet Dinner Every Friday to Sunday 6:30PM to 10:30PM $57++ per adult* $28.50++ per child (6-12 years old) *Price includes a glass of draft beer

BB 1-FOR-1 // Wagyu Beef Buffet BILL: Premium dinner buffet for 2 comes up to be $148.02 after GST and service charge * Inclusive of free flow drinks and Ben & Jerry's ice cream REMARKS: * Indoor and outdoor seating available * Various types of dipping sauce * Good variety of hot and cold drinks * Cooked food such as fried rice, sushi, soba, gyoza, chicken skewers, mixed veggies * 8 flavours of Ben & Jerry's ice cream * Unsure of what is the wagyu beef grade but still a good experience trying wagyu beef dishes we never had before such as ox tongue, wagyu beef tataki and even wagyu beef tartare * Service is good; our empty ingredient plates were promptly cleared by the polite Filipino staff * We stuck to the 90-minute limit and stopped ordering and barbecuing when the time was up. We continued to sit for a while more, drinking and eating ice cream and there was no pressure from the staff for us to leave. Appreciated that. * It did get a bit gelat towards the end though * Pork cheek fillet was superrrr fatty and tough to chew * Enjoyed the wagyu beef short plate and scallops the most
Delicious but pricey Paid ~$148 (after gst n svc charge) for 2 pax for the 90 mins premium buffet. There was a decent variety of wagyu beef cuts and the wagyu was melt in your mouth yummy. Staff was pleasant and brought our orders relatively quick and were helpful in changing our grill too. Overall pleasant experience but the fact that burpple beyond basically only gives you ben & jerry's ice cream (for $3 less than their in house $59.90++/pax promo), makes the beyond deal pretty bad as compared to other restaurants. Not a true 1 for 1.
Didn’t opt for the buffet since it was our weekday work lunch hour. However the set lunch still came with buffet choice of appetizers, salad, soups, chawanmushi, small bites, dessert & drinks! So so so good deal! 🥚 I ordered Wagyu Saikoro Steak Set ($26.90) and the beef cubes though fatty but yummy. I really really love the grated radish with citrus sauce! Very very satisfyingly sour & tasty 😋 Likely to return for the bbq buffet at a more leisure dining time. Only side effect - we smelt ‘bbq’ after dining 😆 #burpple

Purveyors of Fine Smoked Meats Star rating : ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐ visited the hidden gem in Jalan Besar, Singapore. A rustic minimalist restaurant with a full bar that serves up some very delicious slow cooked American style smoked meats. I had a mixed platter of USDA Brisket, Australian Beefshort rib, Iberico Duroc pork ribs, smoked chicken, sausages and sides of Mashed Potatoes with Stout Gravy & Bone Marrow Butter & coleslaw. The quality and taste was amazing. A must try of your a meat fan.
Big BBQ Platter The platter had so many different types of meat. Recommend adding on the US Brandt Brisket. The meat was good, though a little dry for some.

Ala Cart & 2-3 People Platter ($65) We decided to go for a 2-3 person platter ($65) and create our own favourite second platter. We have added Smoked Buffalo Wings ($8), 350g Angus Short Ribs ($42.35), 100g Angus Brisket Plate ($12.98), 100g Carolina Pulled Pork($12.40), Sweet Potato Fries ($8), Bone Marrow Butter Mashed Potato ($8) onto our platter that consist Brisket Plate, Pork Belly, Smoked Chicken, Pork Ribs, Sausage & Wings w/ Roasted Vegetable and Mashed as our Sides. _ I’m a beef eater so I went straight to the brisket as I was craving from my US visit since December and I love it! It was tender with good amount of fats and perfectly charred! AND the short ribs were to die for, the tender juicy soft meat literally fall off the bone without any fork and knife, it’s the best I had for the night. This is a perfect restaurant for a group gathering, perfect barbecue with affordable price point. 👍🏻 _ Overall Experience: Price Point - 10/10, Food - 9/10, Ambience - 8/10

For That Hotpot Craving You get your individual pots of soup here and you can select the levels of mala too! The medium level was just right - not overpoweringly numb or oily. Definitely could have gone for the highest level 😂 There was also an extremely wide variety of ingredients such as the assorted meat balls - we especially liked the one with the prawn paste inside! Plus point - free ice cream!!
Excellent location in Chinatown and it is just outside of Chinatown MRT Exit A. Can't help but to notice the large red banner indicating 50% discount off a la carte menu (excluding drinks) for a limited time period. Expect fish maw at S$6 (UP S$12), ocean platter at S$13 (UP S$26), sliced pork belly at S$6 (UP S$12) and more. . . The two storeys Chinese hotpot restaurant specialises in hot mala soup in 3 levels, Signature sour fish broth and 5 other soup bases starting from S$3. Unlike the conventional hotpot restaurant, Yue Long Men serves single hotpot such that everyone gets their own individual pot of soup. . . Where to dine? After spending a bomb 💣 due to 11/11, 12/12, Christmas, Boxing Day etc💸💸💸it’s time to hunt for cheap food deals again😂 confound @yuelongmenhotpot on @eatigo_sg at 50%!!!! They serve soups in individual pots which is cute and good for sharing if friends and yourself have different tastes or food preferences😊 we tried the classic tomato soup and sour fish base. For the price and location ( right next to Chinatown mrt exit!!!) I will say it’s a good deal for hotpot. The service and environment was great and conducive for group gatherings💕 they have sauce counter and complementary ice cream as well! 👍 however, don’t expect high-quality soups and ingredients like haidiliao ( their tomato is lacking in comparison) the recommended sour fish is unique and easy to match various ingredients🙃 ingredients are generous and they do the prawn paste service as well ( I been to a place way more expensive that ask you to separate the prawn paste yourself🙄) hence, for the price I really think it’s a great spot for people/groups on a tight budget yet still want to have an extra gathering experience😊🤩 ... ... ... #burrple #burrplesg #foodiesg #foodgramsg #sgfood #sgfoodies #foodsg #eatsg #sgeats #foodblogsg #singaporeeats #foodinsing #nomninjas #straitstimesfood #instafood_sg #goodthingsmustshare #toprestaurants #foreverhungrysg #sgfoodblogger #foodbloggersg #whattoeatsg #wheretoeatsg #foodhuntsg #topcitybites #foodie #eatigo #eatigosg #whati8today
