Good As Usual Medium rare Augus Ribeye, good as usual. Seafood Bouillabaisse, first time trying it. The soup was sweetened from all the seafood. Savoury good, overall I enjoyed it. The oysters today were bigger than what I had there previously. We end the meal with the melting Foie Gras. Was a good meal for $94 with 3 drinks included.

| 🐮 Yummy Tender Beef Cheeks !... ~ · Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks - $18 · The huge chunk of slow cooked beef cheeks is so flavourful and tender, paired with pickled red Bombay onion & a slab of mashed potato. Their Burrata Tomato ($8) is a great starter for the burrata lovers. Burrata cheese is paired with tomato & pesto. FRAPASBAR or CRAP-AS-BAR? We started off on a pretty positive note with the Crabmeat 🦀 Croquette ($8). My only qualm is that the addition of coconut in the fritter wasn’t the best complement. The Grilled Squid 🦑($18) was quite tough but still tasty. However the onion rice 🍚 that stuffed inside the squid was really mushy. Spotlight on the signature main course — Sophia’s Risotto 🥘 (with crabmeat, coconut, chilli, mackerel). I don’t know if the chef made a mistake in our plate or if this is a disastrously planned concoction 🥴 . Seeing from the other negative reviews online, I believe it’s the latter... 😞 The coconut milk was too overpowering and weighs the already starchy dish down. Most horrifyingly.... there were pockets of rice with a really fishy 🐟 .. almost bloody taste 🤢 #SOS Lastly, dessert featured a Lemon Tart topped with sorbet, mint leaves 🍃, raspberries and shards of rose flavoured Meringue. 💯 on presentation but theres room for improvement in the taste department... Overall, I’m disappointed and shocked that we paid so much $$$ for food that should’ve been MUCH better (it’s under the Saveur group!) @lettherebe.food on INSTA FOR MORE LIKE THIS!

Life is short and unpredictable. Eat dessert first! These French desserts from @saveursg were simply luscious. Pistachio Baileys Panna Cotta ($12) So rich and creamy with caramelized pistachios embedded within, not overly sweet and a touch of Baileys flavour. This is a must try. Valrhona Chocolate Fondant Cake ($14) Perfectly baked, with the right balance of rich oozy chocolate lava and cake. Served warm with vanilla ice cream. This tasted too good to be true. Creme Brulee ($10) This is again another must eat dessert dish. Rich, creamy and perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. And do i have to tell you how good the caramelized top is? . | 🦐 Beautiful Sakura Ebi Pasta !... ~ · Saveur Pasta - $9 · The beautifully plated dish is made of capellini, topped with handful of sakura ebi, pork sauce, chive, shallot & flavoured with extra truffle oil. Flavourful and unique starter to kickstart the dinner. Beef En Cronte ($34) is a baked beef pastry with mushroom duxelle, foie gras & bordelaise sauce. A nice pick for a hearty meal. Signature Duck Confit ($19) Saveur is a restaurant that serves authentic and affordable French cuisine. I remember trying their Signature Duck Confit and liking it back when they had an outlet at Far East Plaza. Having tried it again recently, the taste was still the same after all these years with the crispy skin and tender meat. Very consistent in terms of taste, the only difference was that the price has increased. 😂

JUST LOOK at how generous they are with the amount of smoked salmon slices! 😍😍😍 U can be guaranteed a good mouthful of that smoky & savoury goodness in every bite!! Yup, that's all i need! ✔ . Featuring sesame PAUL flûte laid with crunchy romaine lettuce, fresh juicy tomatoes & an entire stretch of soft smoked salmon, this really is my kind of sandwich! 💕💕 As my sandwich was freshly made, the exterior of my bread had a good crunch. Suggest to finish it off before it cools as it WILL get hard 😅 . Really liked the sesame atop the bread which added some fragrance & nutty flavours! 👍🏻 The lemon cream cheese spread also added a citrusy zest that complemented the smoked salmon very well! 😋 . Other sandwich choices include Salmon & Avocado ($9.90), Sesame Camembert ($7.80), Sandwich Dieppois (Tuna; $7.90), Viennois Dinde (Smoked turkey breast, $8.70) etc.. so spoilt for choice! 🤣

🍞 My ideal breakfast. Ham blanketed by cheese and omelette, resting on top a soft, delicate potato pancake. Toast crunchy, but soft enough that it’s easy to sink into. Bacon crispy and not too salty. Seabass Fillet This Pan-fried Seabass Fillet was highly recommended by the staff but it failed to impress us. The portion was substantial which made it really value for money. 🤩 Props to the chunky & firm flesh with no fishy taste, which is an indication of its freshness. 💕👍🏻 However, the flesh tasted quite bland on its own - we could not taste the natural sweetness of the fish. 😔 . Since the flesh was plain-tasting, the sauce had a lot to do to pull this dish off. I was expecting some citrusy lemon cream, garlic herb or some red wine sauce with caramelised onion sauce to pair with the fish but instead, the sauce carried a very oriental flavour. 😂😂😂 Can’t really put my finger to it but it tasted really familiar - the same way my mum cooks a pan-fried fish at home! Like some hoisin & oyster sauce? 🤔 . Served with French beans & carrot purée on the side, this was decent but quite an average dish. Guess PAUL is still best at its bakes & pastries! 🤣
