Cheeseburger [$10] at a special Tuesday promotional price of $10, this double-pattied(!!!) cheeseburger is amazinggg. the patty was flavourful and well seasoned with hints of smoky charcoal fragrance. leaning towards a medium-rare doneness, the meat was slightly pink in the middle and remained tender throughout, melding perfectly with the cheese. oh and the bunssss 馃槏 slightly crackly tops, insanely soft and fluffy insides. buttered as well! so glad I finally made the trip down. will be back every Tuesday from now on 馃お also if you鈥檙e planning to go as well, do make a reservation beforehand! it was really crowded when I went and I was so thankful I made a reservation because there was a queue 馃檴 4.8/5

Beef Short Rib The third item of my order, the Beef Short Rib. Again, they鈥檝e done such a good job with this! The meat was Super tender, it falls off the bone! It鈥檚 covered with a thick layer of pepper, nice for some fiery melt in your mouth beef initially. However, midway through, I had to scrap off some of it as it over-powered the flavour of the beef. I鈥檇 say, keep to their beef dishes as they do do fantastically well with them!

Beef Brisket I鈥檓 don鈥檛 usually have beef brisket, or rather it鈥檚 not my first choice for beef due to the texture. However, MeatSmith has done a fabulous job with it! It鈥檚 so tender it tears (cuts) as you cut it, and melts in your mouth. Plus, the taste is just right - flavourful and peppery (yet not overtly over-powered by either). 馃憤馃憤

Pork Tomahawk Cooked 2 Ways ($85.90) This tastes just as good as it looks!! 馃槏馃槏 Highlight of the dish has got to be the thiccc juicy strip of pork with such a succulent layer of fat - really so so good omg. Along with 2 substantial stacks of tonkatsu pork, this dish was actually really filling for 2 pax! (Good for 2-3 pax imo!) Came with 4 different sauces - house made brown sauce, chili sauce and scallion sauce, with tartar sauce too for the tonkatsu pork! Fantastic service with attentive servers who patiently explained components of the dish and restaurant was homely - perfect for families! Sides of vegetable and potato wedges were pretty average, but the meat was definitely the star of the show. Esp with eatigo鈥檚 50%, definitely do give this a try 馃憤馃徎馃憤馃徎

Craft Beers They have very interesting craft beers going for $9. We tried the mango and white peaches beer (rabbits image). The mango beer was sweet and the white peaches beer had a strong sour after taste. Prefers the mango one (tall one at the back). Both were light. Besides their pasta, all their mains falls on the expensive side. Given how secluded it is, I will only come back when someone drives. This is also not the kind of place that you would crave for the food and come back to.

Mentaiko Seafood Pasta Mentaiko pasta were okay, nothing very memorable but well done. The pasta was al dente and ingredients were generous. The Mentaiko sauce was flavourful but not too rich nor creamy. This place is super ulu / secluded. Only viable of you drive.

Bone-in Short Ribs ($36++) Fork-pull-apart level of soft tender meat that was flavoured so beautifully with red wine jus. Loved the complementary sides that helped to tie the whole dish together - beetroot chunks, pickled potato and fried shallot! 馃構馃構 Really love the flavour of the meat though I鈥檝e had more tender meat elsewhere, but this was definitely a nicely done beef short rib! Favourite dish here is still the Iberico Pork Tomahawk, and love the prompt service and casual chill vibes of this bar-restaurant! Lamb Rack ($36++) Fyr never disappoints and they continue to impress me with every dish even on my third visit 馃槶馃槶 This was a really well done lamb rack, not in terms of meat doneness (evidently from that raw pink middle) but in terms of how they made the gameyness of a meat like lamb into a plus point instead of a repulsive factor?? Lamb was so succulent and juicy with lamb jus, topped with green crispy millet and a side of ratatouille! 馃い馃い Favourite dish here is still the Iberico Pork Tomahawk, and love the prompt service and casual chill vibes of this bar-restaurant! Sliced Beef Steak ($28) With the 1-for-1, this is definitely worth your money. Order to be done medium, the steak was still pretty juicy and could be eaten on its own or with the sauce provided. A huge amount of salad was given and an interesting touch of a chickpea mash. Would recommend coming here for the steak itself!
