Teppenyaki Omakase With Wagyu Not a bad overall experience but I felt that the food was served too quickly, spoiling the experience a little. The wagyu (in medium) melts in my mouth. It was amazing! Other surprising dishes includes the sesame tofu that goes extremely well with wasabi, the scallops and prawns, and the potato salad. This place is famous for its Okonomiyaki but maybe I was too full by then, I couldn't enjoy. A pair of diner next to us ordered one omakase set and an extra dish of wagyu. That's a smart choice.

Cheese 🧀 and Rice Cake Okonomiyaki Sounds like a pretty odd combi but Japanese Teppanyaki can never go wrong. Tastes as good as it looks - so full of flavour w each bite. Nice portion to save some tummy space for more teppan dishes to come!

Our Omakase dinner at @osakakitchensg turned out to be an enjoyable experience, savouring delicious food prepared by the chefs across the Teppanyaki countertop. We had no regret going for their Ohmi Wagyu set for those unforgettable juicy marbled beef steaks. Our set with seafood also included perfectly cooked scallop and large prawn at the beginning of the course. Do top up for their oyster b’cos it was just so good. Towards the end, their carefully prepared Osaka Okonomiyaki completed our meal with a hearty end before dessert. There were options in their set and all those that we picked, including grilled avocado with melted cheese and omelette with pork belly were great. Look out for their seared specialty sesame tofu as it was just fabulous. After so long, it was nice that our visits to Japan Food Town have been good as we checked out their tenants.

Wagashi (included in eight course $190++/$210++ menu). It's the last few days to enjoy Keyaki’s Hokuriku special menu, as it is available only till 25 December. Besides delicacies from the region of Hokuriku in north-western Honshu (Toyama, Ishikawa and Fukui which borders the Sea of Japan) renowned for its fresh and premium seafood, rice and sake, not to be missed are these traditional Japanese confectioneries. Keyaki Hokuriku Special Menu ($190++/$210++ for eight course menu). Keyaki has put the spotlight on the region of Hokuriku in north-western Honshu. The Hokuriku menu will therefore consists of delicacies from the three prefectures that make up the Hokuriku region (Toyama, Ishikawa and Fukui which borders the Sea of Japan) renowned for its fresh and premium seafood, rice and sake. 🔸 Pictured is one of Hokuriku's speciality - the snow crab. This was grilled with crab miso, so alongside the natural sweetness of the crab, you get strong umami creaminess from the crab miso as well. 🔸 This dish is included in the Yukitsuri Menu ($190++/pax), available till 25 Dec. Other dishes in this menu consists of - 1. Zensai - White Shrimp with Seaweed Soy Sauce; Deep-fried Echizen Noodles wrapped with Prawn Simmered; and Deep-fried Tofu with Kaga Vegetables 2. Sashimi - Toro and Buri (first photo); 3. Yakimono - Grilled Snow Crab with Crab Miso and Kaga Vegetables 4. Agemono - Deep-fried Aori Ika Squid wrapped with Seaweed (second photo); 5.
