| 🍲 Feels similar to having Hotpot at home 。... ~ · Fri to Sun Buffet Dinner - $25.80 Excludes Drinks and Soup Base Ala Carte available too · Despite there are a portion of items not applicable for buffet diners, but the choices are still ample, closer to what we will prepare for our DIY hotpot at home, the dishes served may not be spectacular but all are fresh and sincere. Try their fried chicken wings while waiting for the food to be cooked. Maybe that’s why people there are usually family or group of friends, chatting over meal for an hour to two, very relaxing environment. Only if they drinks are free for buffet diners, it would be splendid · Le Le Pot @le_le_pot

Both ala-carte and buffet options available here. One of the plus points of dining at Le Le Pot is that they offer both ala-carte and buffet pricings. For a weekend buffet dinner, the charges per head is S$25.90, and this pricing excludes the soup base (S$5.00 per pot, choice of up to two soup bases), wet tissue and beverages. Given the choices of food available for the buffet, I find that this is a relatively good deal. And if I must recommend something good, please remember to order their Fried Chicken Wings to complement the steamboat. The rest of the carbs, in my humble opinion, can be missed.

Gluten Free Waffles With Scrambled Eggs & Tomato Paste And Butter With Maple Syrup $16 Their gluten free waffles are made with almond, coconut, chia seeds, eggs and rice. I never imagined gluten free waffles can taste this good. They are soft, moist (if you like crispy waffles then this is not for you) and goes very well with their butter - which I love - and maple. Scrambled eggs are creamy and nicely seasoned. The next time I come I will tell them to hold off the tomato paste (guess I still like it sweet instead of savoury). Their cappuccino $5.50 for tall is good too. Hot, full bodied and not acidic. I like that Tiann’s has no artificial flavouring/additives, trans fat, hydrogenated oil, lower sugar and they pride themselves on providing REAL GOOD FOOD. I will definitely be back.

Not Perfect But I'm Happy Honestly, I didn't expect much from the Angus Burger ($18.90+). That might have contributed to me being pleasantly surprised by it. A juicy 120g beef patty that is flavourful but NOT salty, sandwiched in between 2 fluffy buns. Sautéed onions that add caramelised sweetness. Mushrooms that give it that earthy flavour. & sliced cheese - which, anticlimactically, was quite basic but somehow it works. I happily chowed down on this; while it isn't the best burger ever, it delighted my tastebuds. However, I don't think I'd pay full price for this. But half price thanks to Eatigo via Shopback.... Surprising Steak The Premium Ribeye Steak ($18.90+) is a nice 200g slab that is fairly thin. Upon first glance, I was afraid it might be overcooked from the medium rare I requested for; but as I dug in, my fears were allayed. This is one of the rare times that I feel the sauce served with a steak is enjoyable. The pepper sauce isn't OVERLY peppery nor briney. I actually poured it over my steak before tucking in - very much a rarity. The steak, as with all mains, is served with a side of fries & mesclun salad. Pretty standard, nothing too fancy. Fries are on the oily side & could be crisper. I actually prefer the lightness of the mesclun salad to the fries! Another rarity! 💳 Accepts credit cards 🌬 Air-conditioned seats available ☀ Al fresco seats available 🖥 Accepts reservations - I used Eatigo via ShopBack 🙋🏻‍♀️ Service charge applicable 🚫 No GST

Oily Pasta The Prawn Aglio Olio ($15.90+) is one of 3 pastas on their menu - the other 2 being Truffle Carbonara ($16.90+) & Beef Bolognese ($14.90+). This was a simple dish that was garlicky enough, & of a mildly spicy level. I think that's great for people who don't like to burn their tongues off or are sensitive to spicy food. I do feel that they could've used less oil; it became especially obvious at the end of my meal when I could see how much excess oil had pooled at the bottom of the bowl. Prawns were bouncy fresh though, so I'll give them credit for that. 💳 Accepts credit cards 🌬 Air-conditioned seats available ☀ Al fresco seats available 🖥 Accepts reservations - I used Eatigo via ShopBack 🙋🏻‍♀️ Service charge applicable 🚫 No GST

Chilli Crab Pasta ($16.80++) Nestled on the rooftop of Link Hotel at Tiong Bahru is Lin's 林 Rooftop Bar! Their menu is filled with mainly Asian-fusion dishes & one of the items that stood out of the menu was the Chilli Crab Pasta. We were warned that the waiting time was about 45 minutes to an hour, and we could tell why looking at how crowded it was for a Tuesday evening. The food arrived about 45 minutes later, but who's counting when there was Happy Hour half pints at $6++, and we were treated to a spicier version of the Chilli Crab pasta, and a whole deep fried soft shell crab that came with it. Pasta was slightly overcooked (which is fine cause most don't really enjoy al dante pasta) and tossed in a sweet-spicy-eggy Chilli Crab mixture & chopped chilli which passes off just right. The soft shell crab though, was a stunner with it's crisp exterior & succulent interior. Combine it altogether, this is one dish I'd order again when I'm back!

Lychee prawn from Lin Rooftop Bar - chopped tiger prawns sautéed with garlic and stuffed in whole lychee, served on a bed of savoury tomato concasse sauce. The lychees wrap their angel wings around the happily garlicky prawns like a possessive crazy ex-girlfriend, positively smothering the prawns with sweet, sweet love. 3.4/5

Wu Xiang Pop from Lin Rooftop Bar - deep-fried popcorn chicken tossed in five spice powder and crispy Thai basil leaves. The popcorn chicken had the vapid personality of a $0.50 URA/HDB parking coupon, but was reasonably redeemed by the assertive sassiness of the spicy, powdery dip. 3.6/5
