Mookata every week because we can 馃檶馃徎 Awesome reunion with the same girls (yeah again) & definitely making a couple of return visits! 馃挄 The boss, Uncle Alex here has a naturally charismatic & funny personality! First he asked if we needed a ladder to take this shot, followed by several other jokes throughout the meal. & What made me lost it was when he said: "I need to go, real important, need to go catch this Pokemon before he run." 馃槀 He then hopped on his bicycle all the way to Pasir Ris Park nearby for a Growlithe hahahaha, a dedicated Pokemon master who've caught them all too. Good humour is a quality I always admire! . Uncle Alex also gave us 1-for-1 clams for the day (yay), so we chose corn broth (instead of tomyam) to go along. & After making all of them & their brother prawns go around for a full prosperity dip; I swear guys, the umami we got from then was just totally mind-blowing! Certainly one of those times I felt so glad to be alive 馃い I'll be back! 馃搷Tampines Seafood Mookata [email protected]'Tampines (Near Tampines IKEA) 18, Tampines Industrial Crescent #'01-16 Opening Hours: 12pm - 11pm

Mookata Buffet @ $53/2 pax 馃構馃構 They鈥檙e currently having a promotion at $53 nett/2 people or $26.90/person!! Not sure how long their promotion is for (so call up before going down) but it鈥檚 super worth it 馃槏馃槏 Salted egg cheese is easily the best cheese pull in Singapore and it tasted so so good with bits of curry leaves and strong hints of salted egg, all masked in a scrambled-egg-looking cheese. The mookata comes in a grill with 4 side slots, of which 3 can be different cheeses (salted egg cheese, truffle cheese, mozzarella cheese, ladyboy cheese, in descending order of bombziness) and the last being grilled egg (light taste was good for neutralizing the greasiness so can eat more!!). The variety was decent with 3 main categories. Category 1 (cheap ingredients) with vegetables, 3 types of mushrooms, maggi mee and rice. Category 2 (cheap meat ish things) with cheese tofu, different types of cheese balls (so so), pork collar, pork belly and quail eggs. Category 3 (the goods) with lamb rack, beef, chicken, smoked duck, salmon, clams, scallops and imitation abalone. Felt that the seafood wasn鈥檛 great except the salmon, and the beef, pork collar and chicken (takes long to cook tho) definitely tasted better (especially with the cheese). MVP of the meal still goes to the salted egg cheese which made everything taste amazing 馃構馃構 As if all these wasn鈥檛 enough, the meal comes with free flow super sweet drinks (thai milk tea, green tea milk tea, lemon tea) and ice cream (chocolate, raspberry ripple, mint, yam, blueberry). Pretty worth it meal with amazing superb service and no time limit. Location is near the supper stretch and opens till late as well! Free parallel parking around the area on weekends too 馃挴馃挴 Ambience might be a little hot and ventilation wasn鈥檛 great, but definitely a great spot to pig out and roll around in endless cheese 馃惤馃

Cray Slayyy (~$30) Ah 馃槏 ladyboy's buffet sends you to heaven with the free flow of crayfish here!! Well, that's basically what I filled 90% of my stomach space with, heh. The rest of the choices for bbq were adequate, so don't ask for much.

For Satisfying Mookata in Jurong West Just a short five-minute bus ride out of NTU, this affordable mookata joint located within a brightly-lit coffeeshop is where you should head to when your craving strikes. Opt for the spicy Tom Yum Soup Base ($3) and get The Platter (from $22), which comes with chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables 鈥 enough to feed two people very well. Add on Instant Noodles ($1.50), Luncheon Meat ($1.90) and if you're a seafood lover, an extra portion of the Zesty Marinated Squid ($2.90). It's already included in the Platter but you'll be wanting the extra order. While other squids tend to get rubbery when overcooked, these thick-cut pieces remain soft and chewy no matter how long we cooked them for. Extra portions run out fast, so be sure to check with the service staff on its availability! Avg Price: $20 per person Photo by Burppler Hilary See

Thai Mookata The marination of the meat is good. Pretty decent and good for ntu students who wish to satisfy their mookata craving! Price is reasonable too.

Thai food lovers in TPY should feel blessed b'cos there are many places offering pretty good Thai food here. This newest player amongst them gotta be my favourite. Operated by Thai, their dishes were pretty authentic and tasty. Both the basil rice and olive fried rice were so delicious in their own ways. Basil pork was juicy and flavourful. I immediately fell in love with the velvety texture of the olive fried rice, each grain thorough cooked and so tasty. Mix in the Thai mango and onions and it was really good, ask for more and the staff would gladly provide. Each time we came we would never fail to order their awesome BBQ pork skewers that's beautifully glazed with honey. They have a good variety on their menu so it's easy to settle a satisfying meal here, whether for a simple or more elaborate one with lobster. #burpple #burpplesg #foodgasm #foodpornsg #sgfood #sgfood #sgfoodies #sgfoodporn #sgmakandiary #foodpics #foodlover #foodstagram #foodstagram #foodie #instafood_sg #instagramsg #instasg #whati8today #nomnomnom #instafoodsg #eatoutsg #foodforfoodies #NomNomSG #sgmakandiary #SGhawker #sgfoodlover #sgigfoodies #instafood_sg #stfoodtrending #burpproved #thaifood #olivefriedrice #basilpork

A relatively new entry to the numbers of Thai food stalls in TPY since Aug 16. We fell in love with some of dishes for that authentic "kampong" Thai taste, including their Tom Yum soup, fried Maggie mee and these amazing BBQ pork skewers. Loved the "Chao Ta" touch with a honey glaze finishing, with meat inside still so tender and juicy. Would definitely return for these. #burpple #burpplesg #sgfoodies #foodphotography #foodstagram #exploresingapore #foodpics #sgfoodporn #instagramsg #instasg #whati8today #instafoodsg #eatoutsg #foodforfoodies #sgfoodspotting #sgfoodunion #foodgram #instafood_sg #foodstagram #exploresingapore #instagramsg #instasg #instafoodsg #foodloversg #igsgfoodies #burpproved #sgfood #sgfoodies #sgmakandiary #NomNomSG #sgmakandiary #sgeats #stfoodtrending #thaifood #satay #porkskewers

Cheesy Mookata $32.90 per pax for weekend There are a total of 5 sections - seafood (crayfish, squid, prawn, flower crab, oyster and salmon) - meat (3 different flavor of pork, beef and chicken. They have black pepper, spicy and garlic) - steamboat items (standard items like hotdog, crabstick, fishcake, cheese tofu) - veg (golden mushroom, cabbage, lettuce, quail egg, maggi and glass noodle) - drinks What i like about here is that they really segment the different sections very clearly. And as the name of the stall speaks, they have melted cheese in a small compartment beside the pot for us to dip our prized items in it. The soup waa rather clear and tasteless. U need to have meat going on at the grill for the juice to drop into the soup, enhancing the flavor Overall, it was quite worth is for the price!

My most favourite Mookata in Singapore is from Y cube Mookata (Lvl 2) in Golden Mile. There is newly opened Mookata shop located on the ground floor of Golden Mile, opposite the very popular New Udon Mookata - Ninja Cheese Mookata Buffet. Selling live Baby Lobster, Tiger Prawns and Crabs and cheese dip. To me it鈥檚 very sinful to kill live seafood and eat it on the spot馃樀 sorry 馃檹馃徎 Price $37.90++ a lot more expensive than Y Cube ($29.90++) but because of the live seafood.. i still prefer Ycube as more meat variety and soup is tastier.. the soup from Ninja Cheese was so blend. if i鈥檓 not wrong Ninja Cheese Mookata is also open by them as I saw staff wearing Ycube uniform 馃槀 _______________________________________________________ Ninja Cheese Mookata Buffet 5001 Beach Road Golden Mile Complex #01-50 Singapore 199588 Price: Adult $37.90++ child $19.90++ (1m - 1.4m) Additional $2 for weekend and eve and public holidays

Buffet ($32.90) - When guys feast, it's all about the protein. Ninja mookata offers a variety of marinated meats. My preference would be the spicy chicken but my Friends prefers the teriyaki. A wide range of seafood to select from, which even includes Oysters, Bamboo clam, crabs and baby lobster! The downside was that they're frozen and the crayfish did have a little "fishy" taste. The cheese served here was mixture of nachos and mozzarella cheese. All in all, not too shabby, would be better if they offer a wider range of cheese selection. Btw, the service is good! #whati8today #8dayseat #i8mondays #burpple #burpplesg #eatoutsg #sgcafefood #setheats #buzzfeedfood #feastagram #sgfoodie #instafood_sg #peanutloti #starvingtime #thesmartlocal #tslmakan
