First & Last Visit Ordered: Tom Yum Goong, Green Curry Chicken, Platter (as pictured) and Stir Fried Butterfly Pea Rice They ran out of pork that day so I was quite bummed about it considering that it's a Saturday evening, 6pm. It took 30min or so before the first dish was served. The platter of fried food was okay. The butterfly pea rice did blow me away. It's fragrant and the grains were distinct yet not too hard. It's worth trading your white rice for this. The rice left me beaming with high expectations of the other dishes. The green curry came and woah, it's laden with salt. The curry was so-so, chicken has the frozen meat taste 😥 totally not up my alley. Lastly, tom yum goong came in that little fire below, keeping it bubbling. The first spoonful of it didnt left me impressed but wasn't bad as well (just mehhh). But lo and behold, the prawns were mushy and totally not fresh!! They're stale, if i may be dead honest bout it. All the prawns in the pot were like that. Guess they might have been really good back in their heyday but based on my dining experience recently, it's likely to be my first and last visit.

Tom Yum soup Nara oh Nara... I used to tell everyone around me how great the food was especially the Tom Yum soup. Not cheap for a 2 person portion but great ambience & quality ingredients so why not right? I’m not sure if it was a kitchen malfunction just that very day but the soup wasn’t piping hot like usual & tasted quite off when I visited. It used to be thick, creamy with strong flavours from the prawn stock. But it didn’t quite pack a punch like how it usually would. The other dishes weren’t hot as well when served & the portion of the basil chicken was kinda pathetic for the price paid. Should I give it another chance? Maybe...... :/

If you've followed me long enough you would know I love love kao Kra Pao Moo and this does not disappoint. Instead of the normal white rice, this is served with blue jasmine rice, visually enticing and oh so pretty to look at! The basil pork paired with the fluffy rice is fragrant and oh so good! Just like how I love my kao Kra Pao Moo! Makes me miss thailand even more!

INSTAGRAM @MAKANTERUUSS https://instagram.com/makanteruuss?utm_source=ig_profile_share&igshid=fyt43ruv2xiz || Check review 👇🏼 I came here Thursday night around 7 pm. The line is already long. I think we waited here around 20 minutes less or more. They gave us the menu while queueing. So here it is what we ordered: - The Tom Yum Seafood is a must eat if you go to the Thailand restaurant, I think. This is definitely a champion. Nothing was wrong. It’s quite spicy in your throat, but that’s what ‘thai food’ supposed to bring the feel to you. Inside got 1 cherry tomato, 1 prawns, 1 long fish meat, 3 or more (idk) squid. We ordered clear soup one. The taste was good. - Green Curry Chicken ($8) is quite unique for me, maybe because I’ve never taste it before. The coconut milk is really overpowering the taste for me. Chicken was tender and they gave quite a portion. - Phad Thai ($6) was surprisingly good. Usually I didn’t like kuetiaw type and so called, but this one has the feel that makes me want to eat and eat again. The portion is also quite worth it. - Another one was Stir-Fried Minced Pork with Basil ($6), it’s a little bit salty but I like it, the meat and the onion with a little bit of veggie, it’s good if you eat it with rice, or without (for me) hehehe. - We also tried Sticky Rice Mango ($3), I feel for the price it is super worth it. The mango is not sweet, also the coconut milk, but with the sticky rice, they became a perfect pair. I actually never tried it before, but this one quite make a standard for me. - Thai Iced Lemongrass ($3) was just so so for me. The taste of lemongrass is not really strong, hmm. Idk if I’m going to purchase again or not. Better try the iced tea Follow me on instagram - for another place to eat, and a lot of food https://instagram.com/makanteruuss?utm_source=ig_profile_share&igshid=fyt43ruv2xiz - and my personal one https://instagram.com/kezyabenita?utm_source=ig_profile_share&igshid=czo5xilbsr0o Thankyou😘

Pad Thai Choice of vermicelli or flat noodles for pad thai. Simple traditional dish, can’t go wrong with pad Thai. Nothing special except the portion is huge — very worth for the low price of $6. Queues are insanely long during peak hours so best to go before dinner crowd.

Fried Mama Noodle Thai style fried drunken noodle (S$6) In Mama Noodle version. Available at @nakhonkitchen Furiously spicy. Adding fire 🔥 to my anger. . Beware of the queue. The group of 3 who didn’t queue just whacked the indoor table in front of us. And the staff allowed. We were treated invisible. Just because it’s just 2 of us, it didn’t call to treat us like that!!! Should have taken photo of those 3 and send to Stomp to earn S$50 and for making me 🤬sweating like hell sitting outside!!!! . Nakhon Kitchen Address 🏠 : 27A Lorong Liput, Singapore 🇸🇬 277 738 Tel ☎️ : 6469 6862 MRT 🚇 : Holland Village (CC21)
