Salmon Grain Bowl Tasty dish with salmon cooked to perfection. The dollop of mashed avocado was an interesting and healthy addition. Loved the inclusion of a fragrant and tasty bread stick. Served with brown rice. Did not touch the separate steak bowl but heard it was quite well done too.

Amazing & Affordable Food The Pulled Pork Egg’s Benedict was a delightful spin on the classic brunch meal, 8/10 Steak & Egg Bowl (can’t really remember the name) had a generous portion of steak and the sauce brought the flavours of the beef, vegetables and mushrooms together, 8/10 Mushroom Truffle Spaghetti was a little watery for my taste but could still taste the truffle oil. The spaghetti noodles were cooked well, 6.5/10 Staff were very helpful and hospitable as well Will come back to try their bread and pastries!

Matcha x Hazelnut Cruffins I've been wanting to try these since I first heard about it during my trip to Sweden - so glad I found it here! Matcha cruffin - definitely a must-try! The cruffin was filled generously with Matcha. Loved that it wasn't too sweet, had just the right amount of rich-ness which made it so easy to finish. Hazelnut cruffin - a flavour that can't go wrong. Paled in comparison to the Matcha cruffin... till we asked the staff if he could help us reheat it. So glad we did because it was just pure hazlenut goodness oozing out from our buttery pastry, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The cruffins were so good we had to buy it back for our family! So we bought the passionfruit and lychee to try + the matcha cruffin because we were really impressed by it! (Not in picture) We had a cup of blue pea yuan yang as well - tasted more like white coffee but overall would rate it a pretty good drink to go with our dessert. Damage was $5 per cruffin but would say it's well worth the price. Will definitely be back to try their other pastries. Really helpful and amazing service, especially Kelvin (sorry hope we got your name right!)

Brekkie Burger ($19) The brekkie burger is fantastic!! The sesame bun was sweet and fluffy, and the scrambled eggs + meat combination was sooo indulgent and completely satisfying for a weekend brunch. However, it comes on its own, with no side salad or fries so it is a rather pricey burger, even more so if you pimp it up with their hollandaise hash browns (+$4) as we did.

Truffled Scrambled Eggs on Rye Sourdough Toast ($22) This café was PACKED on a Saturday late morning, and they do not take reservations so do expect to wait a while if you're not lucky enough to catch a seat. Anyway, service is very fast and our food arrived within 5 min or ordering even though the cashier informed me there may be a waiting time of 15-20min. On to the food, the truffled scrambled eggs were unfortunately overcooked and not as runny as I would have liked it. The truffle scent was too strong for my liking as well. The mushrooms and sautéed spinach was forgettable and the rye sourdough was too dense and was weighed down by everything else on the plate. I really wanted to like this but sadly it didn't impress.

Egg Ben-n-Jamin, Chai Latte, Iced Latte On the eve of National Day, i get to enjoy the scenic view of Gardens by the Bay form the Kallang PCN we woke up at 6am to “explore”. Then had breakfast at one of the better brunch places in Singapore - enter Sarnies, before walking to Chinatown and have my Singaporean Kopi after a milky, cafe masala chai latte. This was not before stopping by this non descript chiffon and roll cake stall which had Dr Leslie Tay’s article displayed- at $1.80 per slice of chiffon I found this one of the softest chiffons I’ve had and was very pleased. At Chinatown complex food centre I had only space for desserts so the chendol that Our Grandfather Story featured we had to try. It was a good bowl of chendol at $2 considering how the slightly savoury pandan tadpole jellies are handmade. But my win for the day was Xin Xuan’s Min Chiang Kueh, I love pancakes so corollary, I love Chinese pancakes. The ones here are soft and delicious that it made me feel like they were everything I could have ever wanted. #HappyNationalDay I do love the country I live in✨

Cafe Dinner 1-for-1 mains Ordered crispy fish fillet tacos and spicy crab meat linguine. The crispy fish fillet tacos per the attached photo felt like a fusion dish. It was rather dry unlike normal tacos with generous sauces. There were mangoes (sour) and red bell peppers. A good crunch and interesting dish but having 3 tacos is too much to eat alone as the taste gets quite sickening after the first taco. The spicy crab meat linguine was not bad. I’ve tried a few crab pasta and this is not the best I’ve had. The bill was a little funny because the 10% service charge was based on before the 1-for-1 pricing. Tacos was $24.61 and linguine was $25.68. Total Bill was $50.29 before Burpple discount. After the Burpple deal it was $24.61 but the service charge was $5.03 instead of $2.46. Small amount so I didn’t make a fuss but still find it a little weird because I didn’t face this at other dining areas. Total bill: $30.70

Salmon Fillet With Tomato Salsa ($27.80) A very wholesome plate - with a big piece of salmon fillet, baked potatoes, steamed broccoli & cherry tomatoes. Would recommend this if you’re looking for something healthy!

Salmon Steak $34 Just look at it. Beautiful and appetizing. It's not expensive considering the salmon size. But I got it on 1 for 1 offer with burrple beyond, which made it even better. Sides : It has mushrooms & broccoli, which I enjoyed. potatoes and tomatoes I threw away, as they were bad to taste. Staff was rude and had unnecessary attitude, which I didn't understand considering the state of business right now. I went for the fish and coffee and enjoyed it. So I will give a generous 4 on 5

Arrive Early To Avoid Disappointment Ordered the breakfast platter ($27) which was probably enough to feed 2 pax. Inside it was eggs, bread, salad, sausages, bacon, salmon tomatoes, potatos. Their potatoes were well fried outside, yet soft inside. Which is also how i'd describe their toasted brioche buns. Their eggs also were very creamy. Get the truffle eggs prosciutto if truffles are your thing. They give a generous amount of truffle which gives the egg an added kick But they dont take reservations unfortunately. I reached at 11.15am and still had to queue, so you might want to head there earlier. And ask for a seat inside. The heat can get unbearable if you're seated outside. Looking forward to going back to try their beef cheek rendang

Truffle Eggs Prosciutto | $22 The toast was soft, which was not a bad thing (who says it needs to be crispy to be good!) for this dish. The egg is drizzled with truffle oil and the ham was salty - but because of this combination of scrambled eggs, ham and toast, the different flavours complemented one another so well that it made this breakfast dish so delectable! Admittedly for a small eater, I got quite sick of the taste after a while, but I’m not complaining as it just meant that the portion was really generous and filling! Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟

Truffle Eggs Prosciutto Elixir does one of a better scrambles, infused nicely with truffle shavings. No words for prosciutto cause, it’s self explanatory good on its own. Though the portion may seem small on the first impressions, the brioche and eggs it leaves me belly full. Ooh, they do good coffees too.
