Garlic Prawn Linguine | $23 Good amount of garlic taste and big prawns as well. However, it lacked a bit of taste in the pasta but I applaud it for not being too dry! Would definitely come back to try more of their burgers! Rate:馃専馃専馃専

The Armoury Burger | $24 Wagyu patty was done well, loved the caramelised onions, melted cheese and bacon combination. It became a gooey mess along the way, but it was still a delicious one. Upgraded the fries to truffle fries for $2. Truffle taste wasn鈥檛 strong and it often only goes well with shoestring fries but it was worth it for what it is! When we went there despite a reservation they could not provide an indoor table due to various reasons, but they promised to give us an indoor high table as Long as customers left and they indeed fulfilled their promise! Straightforward, genuine and quick to the point service which I appreciate. 馃憤馃徎 Rate:馃専馃専馃専馃専

Nice Ambience But Bad Service Attitude Pretty decent dishes served, we had the 1 for 1, thanks to Burpple Beyond! Mentaiko Kaiju Armoury Burger ($24) - Nice hint of mentaiko and good beef burger overall and Chilli Crab Spaghetti ($23) - Spicy with generous soft shell crab. However, what disappointed us was the service from the lady who seemed like the manager who was ordering her staff around. So what happened was: On that day we visited, it looked like it was gonna rain and I previously booked a seat outside, but they gave us a seat inside. But when I asked them if we could change outside, they said sure but we cant reserve a seat inside cos customers might flood in blah blah. Ok Fine, I understand since it's Phase 2. But what made us totally frustrated and speechless was when she came out to rush us to take pic of our food faster when we went out to take (since it didnt rain in the end) and she said other customers will need our table and accused us for hogging the table inside. Is this how you treat your customers?? What was even more speechless was that we saw birds flying in the restaurant like what you see at the coffee shop.. My lunch here with my friend was ruined, as well as our mood.

Weekend Lunch Buffet ($29.90) Pretty wide variety of meat available (chicken, pork, beef) with unique flavours such as curry and herbal marinated meat, in addition to the usual unmarinated, black pepper, teriyaki... Not a fan of curry but herbal is not bad. They also have processed food like crabstick, hotdog, luncheon meat, veggies, mushrooms and kimchi, different types of sauces (ssamjang, red pepper sauce, sweet thai chili, doenjang etc), cooked food (tteokbokki, chives pancake, waffles). Cooked food was not to my liking, I prefer the bbq stuff. As we used BB 1 for 1, we had to adhere to a 100 min time limit and were charged original price $29.90 + svc charge for 2 pax. Drinks was an additional $2.50 for free flow. Non-BB customers can get 20% off original price and there is no time limit. Service staff are friendly and nice. :) Total cost: $32.80 for 2 pax

lunch buffet this is a super underrated place!!! they have a huuuge variety of meats with many flavours, such as lychee, bak kwa and curry, that i don鈥檛 usually see in franchise kbbq outlets so that was an eye opener! furthermore their pork belly slices have a reallyy good ratio of fats! not only is the pork meat good, the chicken is tender while their beef is chewy and full of flavour. what鈥檚 more, they even make waffles for you upon request that you can pair with various ice creams, from chocolate, to blueberry ripple, and even green tea. the amazing thing is that with burpple beyond, i only paid about $15 so it really made my whole experience sooo worth 馃槶 rating: 8/10

Korean Fusion BBQ (Dunlop Street) 06/09/19 Time limit: 100min (I think this applies only to Eatigo users) Price: $18.60 (After 50% Eatigo discount and 10% Service Charge) Note: No GST charge at this buffet A small obscure restaurant located on the second floor of a shophouse along Dunlop Street. They had quite a wide variety of marinades for the pork belly as well as a variety of different types of meat and meat cuts. In addition to the meats were the vegetables and pineapple (Probably canned) and watermelon. There was a waffle, ice cream and cooked food station as well. On top of that, they provide free-flow drinks for an additional $2.50 nett. Otherwise, you're strongly recommended to bring your own water. While there was a decent variety of meats, I wouldn't come back again, even with the 50% discount as none of the meats were high quality and none of the marinades stood out in particular apart from perhaps, the herbal pork belly. Price: 8/10 (This is after the 50% discount) Taste: 5.5/10 Ambience: 4/10 Overall: 5.5/10 (Would not be over 5 without the 50% discount) More pictures at: https://www.instagram.com/p/B2ecO5CAAoN/?igshid=1hpgzoaqyu5ey Full review at: https://liveeatbless.wordpress.com/2019/09/15/buffet-review-korean-fusion-bbq-dunlop-street-jalan-besar-rochor-mrt/

Value For Money Steamboat ($29.80) Onepot offers a wide variety of soups and ingredients at affordable prices. You can get up to 3 soups per table and we got laksa, mala and chicken soup. The chicken was a bit plain for our liking but the laksa and mala were flavourful and yummy.

Mala Hotpot buffet for $20?? Yes, with #burpplebeyond it's possible. Although it's not the best, it's not too bad either considering the spread available (scallops, bamboo clams, mutton slices, etc). You're able to satisfy your mala cravings definitely. Do note that your clothes will smell of mala oil after the meal, so just go really casual if you want to!

Good Variety The sauces are pretty standard, & are right by the entrance. Next to that are the ice cream freezer & free flow sugary drinks station - these cost $2 extra (total), which I didn't opt for & I felt I wasn't missing out on much. For meat, I basically whacked the beef & mutton as I usually do. They weren't too fatty, which is great! The other options are pork & chicken. The main section where the rest of the ingredients are saw a large variety seafood (the bamboo clams were a bit smelly though), mushrooms, vegetables, my favourite tang hoon & thick sweet potato noodles, & I must have cracked 4 eggs into the soup nearing the end of my meal 馃槀 Overall, in terms of variety & quality of food, I was quite happy with what was offered. Give the Xiao Long Baos a miss, though - despite being included in the buffet price, they aren't actually nice. Not much soup inside, & the skin is way too thick. The top is also very stiff & hard (that's what she said). 馃挿 Cash/NETS only 馃枼 Accepts reservations - I used Eatigo for 50% off, clicked through via Shopback for cashback 馃嵔 Burpple Beyond partner 馃摫 Accepts GrabPay

Cheese, Chilli & Unlimited Certain types of meals, where you need to let loose, just gotta be buffets. Mookata is one of them. Among the free-flow ingredients were seafood, cha yen and instant mee. I never knew how to use the cheese until it met the instant mee haha. We didn't order the crab and crayfish, but their dory and peeled prawns were great. Among the meats, there's one beef, but it turned out low quality, so whack pork belly please. Great chilli mix!

Bamboo Clams & Oysters Certain types of meals, where you need to let loose, just gotta be buffets. Mookata is one of them. I've never eaten so much bamboo clams in one sitting. I was so tempted by the plump oysters, but after grilling them and dipping in cheese and chilli, they're still so briny. The chilli mix here was a highlight.

My most favourite Mookata in Singapore is from Y cube Mookata (Lvl 2) in Golden Mile. There is newly opened Mookata shop located on the ground floor of Golden Mile, opposite the very popular New Udon Mookata - Ninja Cheese Mookata Buffet. Selling live Baby Lobster, Tiger Prawns and Crabs and cheese dip. To me it鈥檚 very sinful to kill live seafood and eat it on the spot馃樀 sorry 馃檹馃徎 Price $37.90++ a lot more expensive than Y Cube ($29.90++) but because of the live seafood.. i still prefer Ycube as more meat variety and soup is tastier.. the soup from Ninja Cheese was so blend. if i鈥檓 not wrong Ninja Cheese Mookata is also open by them as I saw staff wearing Ycube uniform 馃槀 _______________________________________________________ Ninja Cheese Mookata Buffet 5001 Beach Road Golden Mile Complex #01-50 Singapore 199588 Price: Adult $37.90++ child $19.90++ (1m - 1.4m) Additional $2 for weekend and eve and public holidays

Great Variety, Quality & Value! There are many Japanese buffets out there, but Shin Minori is definitely one of the better ones, especially with the burpple beyond deals! There are so many options on the menu (they even have all kinds of skewers, which is rare to find in a Japanese buffet restaurant!). Sashimi is always very fresh and comes on thick slices. I especially love their mentaiko items because the sauce is super umami! Would definitely recommend :)

Roll Up On 鈥楨m @shinminorisg sushi rolls, such as the Temptation Maki (tempura prawn, avocado & cream cheese) and California Maki were passable, but ultimately very forgettable. Shin Minori鈥檚 sashimi is definitely much better, thanks to the fabulously fresh fish on offer, so I鈥檇 definitely stick with that if forced to choose. But wait! With #burpplebeyond, you ain鈥檛 gotta choose! @burpple Beyond has got 1-for-1 on @shinminorisg lunch & dinner buffets, so you can savagely stuff yourself with superb sushi & sterling sashimi, plus a whole lot of other food options as well! Thank you for having me @shinminorisg, and thanks @burpple for letting me tag along!

Sashimi MORE-iwase There鈥檚 like a million other Japanese buffets out there, but Shin Minori aims to carve out a slice of the over saturated pie by offering a very affordable Omizu lunch/dinner buffet. Better yet, it鈥檚 on Burpple Beyond, so a buffet for two is well worth the money invested! Of course, when you鈥檙e at a Japanese restaurant that does sushi or sashimi, you get both without a second of hesitation. Shin Minori鈥檚 sashimi moriwase (yes, the whole dang platter is part of the buffet!) sees six different cast members of The Little Mermaid sharing space on a really yuge and kinda heavy bowl. The slices are generously thick and every last slice is fantastically fresh too! With Burpple Beyond, you get one 1-for-1 dinner buffet, and two lunch buffets at Shin Minori鈥檚 Marine Parade outpost. Hey, that鈥檚 pretty good! Thanks for hosting us Shin Minori, and thanks for the invite Burpple!

Seafood Chicken Pot (50% off w Beyond) Seafood chicken pot w spicy fragrant gravy $28.80 ($14.40 after burpple beyond 50% off) Added golden mushrooms $3.20 Super yummy and worth it with burpple 50% deal. Got the Spicy Fragrant gravy in 涓荆 and it had the right level of kick. Chicken was tender (has bones but that鈥檚 normal for dishes like this), prawns and squid were fresh. M size is good for 2-3 people (3 if you鈥檙e small eaters). Worth a try and I鈥檒l definitely be coming back!

Fat bird #BurppleBeyond 1-1 House Special Chicken Pot $17.90 Numbing & Fiery Chicken Pot $17.90 Spicy Chicken Cubes $13.80 Hot Plate Prawns $14.80 Total: $71+ Utilised 2 vouchers for 5 pax. Ordered 2 Chicken Pots (Small) and 2 mains and about 5 add-ons into the 2 pots. We preferred the spicy chicken pot over the house special as its more fragrant and the spicies really gave our taste buds a strong kick! Portion of chicken in both pots were alright and we find the side dishes are on the pricier side, like one portion of instant noodles cost $3.90. For the mains, the Spicy Chicken Cubes, the ratio of the dried chillis flakes to the small chicken cubes was like 15:1, but chicken was well fried and flavourful. I like the sauce of the Hot Plate Prawns, and it looked really appetitizing with the colourful condiments. Overall, Beyond made it a fairly good deal especially when dining with friends since the price is on the higher side.

Delicious Alternative To Kaoyu Somewhat similar to kaoyu, where you can choose the gravy and other add ons. Highly recommend the Spicy and Fragrant chicken pot (it's not very spicy 馃槉)! Burrple 1 for 1, with additional add ons, is sufficient for a group of 4 pax.

Buffet Lunch #BurppleBeyond 1-1 Premium Lunch Buffet $53.90 Includes free flow soft drinks and green tea and dessert of the day, which we chose single scope of matcha and black seasema ice cream. We orderd many things so let the picture above does the work, lol. Resturant was fairly crowded so better make your reservation few days prior your intended day. Staffs were friendly and efficient in serving and clearing of empty plates. Order was made through an ipad and food was served quite promptly. For variety of food its very worth for price paid (1 for 1), ingredients were fresh. Its a really good deal when you want to try all sorts of japanese food from sashimi to tempura. Will defnitely come back if we have cravings for assorted jap food again!

Sashimi Moriawase Lots of improvements recently. Still not the best Japanese food (even Sushi Tei is better) but not bad, especially and surprisingly the sashimi. The all you can eat buffet has lots of items, and recently added hot pot (sort of shabu shabu), with average-quality ingredients but a delicious broth. With the Entertainer 1-for-1 offer, it amounts to an unbeatable $27++ per person. Efficient service. Eating at Shin Minori would break your shin only on a minor way.
