OMG I love this so much! Kalacs are like bread dough strips rolled onto a pin and baked. It was so fascinating sitting in the shop and watching them make it. It's as big as a normal 100 ml mineral water bottle on the inside. Or maybe slightly bigger. 😅

They recommended the original because it was the best seller. And for less sweeter Kalacs, try the ones with nuts. We can customise to a half-half flavour too! Which I did. Why not kill two birds with one affine right!
So I got half original (left) and half almond (right). I like the original better. It is crunchy on the outside, so fluffy on the inside!!! Almond is good and crunchy too. But not very sweet. Would be better with dips! You can add on dips of various flavours to go with it if you feel the Kalacs are slightly bland. RM 3 for it though! 😩
You peel the Kalacs strip by strip to dig in. A really nice treat! Carb laden guilt.
It's also a bit like Auntie Anne's pretzels.
Food: 7/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 12.30 - you pay for the higher priced one if you go half-half. A full original one will cost RM 10.30. Not too bad for quite a big pastry!)
That Dip, awesome.
