Ok. We know just be thankful. Just say thank you and don't question! 😂👍 He said want to try out Segar. He told us it's from the same folks from West Co'z Cafe. We said he has been only going to many halal places because their lunch group has more members now. Then we ask, so 'you now 'riday noon time busy' is it? He said no lah.... Another option for those who need to look for halal places for group office lunch. West Co'z is always so packed. Fish head not bad!

There wasn't any fried wontons or youtiao (pity!) on the menu, so we went with the sweet & sour fish as side dish. It's got the usual chunks of onion, pineapple and bell peppers. The batter is crispy, and sauce is not too sweet. Since they do a really good rendition of my favourite dish, I officially approve of this place and have added it to my list of go-to places. 👍

It's expertly done, with the rice having a smoky aroma and no clumps. Good balance of spice and sweetness from the pineapple too.

For drinks, we got lime juice and hot chocolate (for H, the hot chocolate enthusiast). It's just Milo actually, but better to go with trusty ol' Milo than something else which may not taste as good.

I have eaten this dish at two other outlets, West Co'z Cafe and Ah Poh Kitchen. Glad that they all share a great recipe for tom yum soup. It's thick and I could feel the spices coating the back of my throat. Comes with slices of fish, squid, fishcake, mushroom and a medium sized prawn.

To me, the best noodle to eat this with is kway teow. Bee hoon is good too.

What I appreciate very much is the price of their drinks, an average of $2 to $2.50, served in a big cup. On top of this, they also serve free iced water. Yaaasss.
