It's cheaper then the fish head at the coffee shop next to my home.
And it taste great too.
The curry was plentiful, cant even see the fishhead.
👍👍
For zi char sans pork and lard, count on Segar’s variety of tasty dishes. The menu isn’t extensive, but there’s still something for everyone — tangy Claypot Tom Yum Mee Soup ($6) for solo diners, the sweet, crispy Segar Claypot Golden Chicken ($10.80) for two, and the Signature Curry Fish Head ($20) for the whole gang.

I asked which was better, the Assam or curry fish head. Reply was that if I wanted to sweat, I shd choose the curry fish head. And indeed, this was really spicy and warmed me right up. Curry was wonderfully thick and full of flavors. I drowned my rice with curry cos it was so good! Fish meat was tender. Good amount of vege. At this price, I would definitely come again!
This Grandma salted egg sotong was really delicious. But it was a tad too oily so best to share. Salted egg sauce was grainy and so rich. Eating this with rice was the best!
Sambal kangkong, bitter gourd omelette and bean sprout with salted fish. Very simple dishes just like mom's cooking.
This dish looked great and the smell was divine. The sauce was savory and fragrant. It would be fabulous if the chicken used was boneless thigh but it was breast meat with bones. I even bit down on a small pc of bone. That definitely put me off this dish forever. Such a pity, cos I really liked the sauce.
