Since we can't travel to Osaka, then let Seiwa bring Osaka to us!
I like the batter and the generous mix of ingredients that went into it. We tried the pork okonomiyaki and it was light enough and a good balance to pair off with our Suntory.

Just a stone throw away from the Jalan Besar MRT station is a hidden Japanese restaurant that is perfect for group gathering. At this place, you’ll have the option of cooking your own okonomiyaki or sit back and watch the chef skillfully prepares it for you. With the inner masterchef in us, of course we opted to cook it ourselves. However, it turned out to be a mess, so eventually we let the chef took over. Nevertheless, it’s still a very fun and interesting experience! We got the okonomiyaki, monjayaki and the seafood platter. The taste of the monjayaki is great but its wet and mushy texture may not be to everyone’s liking. Overall, the food served was average but the unique experience and the friendly service crews make us want to go back again.

I think the batter could have been used it make 6 smaller pancakes instead. The pancakes were so big that the sides were abit undercooked. If they were fully, the pancakes would have been very nice.

It was pretty fun to cook our own okonomiyaki! I think we could have made it thinner so that the cabbage in the middle gets cooked. Taste wise i think it's a normal okonomiyaki.

With squid, prawns, dried shrimps and pork. We got the staff to help us cook it. The cabbage was sliced very thinly on the hotplate. I really love the flavourful taste but it gets salty at the end. I think we didn cook it long enough to make it crispy on one side.

These were so unique! I'm mad about pancakes so this is right up my alley. These were cooked right in front of us on the griddle and there was cheese sprinkled in the middle with a glorious golden drizzle of gula melaka sauce.

There is a nice brown crisp exterior and the center is foamy and fluffy without being too sweet and there isn't an eggy taste at all. The melty cheese gives that salty, slightly savory pop and the gula melaka truly shines with a rich coconutty flavor. It is truly the epitome of fuwa-fuwa. I got to flip my own pancakes and then eat it with tiny spatulas. It's just so cute and fun. ❤️

Not saying it's the best pancake I've eaten, but it was really about the experience. And I really enjoyed myself here.
